Who is going to win Sunday?

It's hard to bet against the defending Super Bowl Champs... I say PATS 27 Colts 24.

If the defending Super Bowl Champs were playing, I'd agree, but the champs w/out Ty Law and Tyrone Poole aren't nearly as talented. It'll still be a tough game, but I think the Colts will come through.

I picked option 4.

I am thinking the Colts myself, low scoring game. Kind of like when they played the Ravens. Think it was all field goals and one touchdown. 20-14 colts

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the playoff rules dealing with overtime different? Continuous overtime until decided?

How can you possibly have a tie in a playoff football game?

I wanna see the Colts win, but I think the Patriots are gonna take it.

It's gonna be a great game. I hope the Patriots come out on top, but if the colts win I'll be cheering them on for the Super Bowl.

All depends on the weather. Manning is 2-4, I believe in temps below 32, so if it's a cold Boston day, I'll go withj Boston if the temp is unusually warm (around 50) I'll go with the Colts.

My vote Pats right now because it is supposed to be bitter cold.

I'm rooting for the Patriots, but I'm expecting Pittsburgh to win the Super Bowl. I didn't put a prediction in this thread.

It's funny, but always heard that it's tough to repeat, and I think that's true. So, if the failure must come (and I think it will), it might as well be this week so that they don't have to sufer the humiliation of being slammed by the Steelers next week.

I say Pats 17, Colts 27 (three TD passes by Manning to show he's the real deal!)

I can't go against the defending champs, even with Seymour and Law injured. I say New England 20-17.

The Colts, they were my favorite AFC team ever since Jim Harbaugh wrote me when I was like 10 or something...

Manning will freeze like the T-1000 and be utterly destroyed by the Patriots. But I liked the T-1000 so I'm going with the Colts.

something about the colts this year, i think there defence will hold up and manning will just do his thing. colts will take the pats secondary a part (i hope).

I think the Pats will win, but what do I know. I lost in the TFP playoff pool on the very first game.

My money is on the Colts. Patsies are missing key players that gave Manning problems in the past as well, so they shouldn't be a problem.

I think the Colts will take it, but then again I cheer for the Bolts, and they lost already so I'm looking for anyone to cheer for.

Everybody says Pats are missing key players, but they were missing almost all season nevertheless they won 14 games.

I need pats to win so I can stay alive in TFP playoff pool.

Efficiency.

I've never seen a team dismantle another team with the efficiency the Pats showed. Those grind drives in the 3rd anf 4th where they gave it to Corey/Faulk, were simply astounding.

Please, the Steelers are going to man handle them next week without a problem. Not only do Colts suck at Foxborough, but their defense blows. Steelers on the other hand are not only at home, but their defense is actually good. And don't forget that they are only 1 of 2 teams to defeat the Patsies. That said, I CANT wait until the AFC Championship game when we get to have our revenge. Save that seat for someone else, yours will be empty soon too ;)

P.S Have you seen the Patsies schedule? Good God, easiest in the league hands down.

I have one name for you for the AFC Title game: Corey Dillon. He wasn't there the last time the Steelers and Pats played and he will be the difference this time. It should be a heck of a game. I'm guessing a score of around 16-13. I'd feel better about the game if it were in Foxboro (not Foxborough), but I guess they'll have to mirror the 2001 run to the title.

bah, I spelled Foxboro too, but I went to the Patsies website to make sure and it was spelled Foxborough....and yes, that's a no for the bandwagon seat, maybe try across the bay, I'm sure several fans wouldn't mind jumping on ;)

Three thoughts:

Will everyone remember this game and stop debating who is the better QB. Brady won again. Manning may be an MVP against the rest of the league, but against the Pats he is nothing special. If I were starting a new team and could take any QB it would be Brady.

Bring on Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh was worried about Manning and his hi flying offense. Well the Patriots are playing playoff football right now. Offensively and defensively.

Corey Dillon as a Patriot: Not as a Bengal. Pittsburgh is never going to handle this.

Pittsburgh got a good scare with the Jets, expect them to overprepare for this one.

I can't believe the Patriots did it again, I have to give props to Bradey. Manning couldn't do anything to get the offense started.

all of you are saying that cory dillon, as a patriot, the steelers cant handle. after all, he wasnt there last time! newsflash: the dolphins handled him. the way you guys have blind faith in your football team, not assuming, but knowing that they are undefeatable...it really is kinda weird.

that being said...from my eyes, the steelers line up really well...they are at home, they have a good defense, hard pounding offense...yet even though i want them to win for some reason i have an unsettling feeling that NE will win.

Either way, Pittsburgh has a solid rush defense.
