Fantasy Football question...

I need a second, and a third, maybe even a fourth opinion on the following:

I'm playing in the game to (potentially) send me to the championship with a chance to play for a few hundred dollars.

My dilemma is the following:

(1) My quarterback situation is Jake Plummer and Brian Griese. Griese has played better in the last two weeks but Plummer was on fire before and matches up well against Kansas City this week. I'm leaning towards Plummer but still unsure as another 3 interception game from the Snake could end my bid for the championship.

(2) My defenses are the Eagles (vs. Cowboys) and Chargers (vs. Browns). I have been riding the Eagles but the Cowboys have the potential to put some points on the board and lit up the Eagles D the last time they played. The Chargers D is vulnerable to big pass plays but have shut down the run and produced a number of turnovers in the last few weeks. Plus, the Browns are miserable. I'm leaning towards the Chargers but I'm a big Bolts fan and fear I may be listening to my heart rather than my head...

So what do you think?

1. Plummer or Griese
2. Eagles or Chargers

Any input is appreciated.

Griese has a better stat line in the 9 games he has played, and his weekest performance was still decent. Plummer has had his ups and down this season, and has had two poor performance in a row.

I say Griese, Plummer is too risky.

As for Defense. I go with my gut and say Eagles. Even though Dallas can put up points, The Chargers do have a weakness to the pass, and Cleveland has proven they can put up points (what almost 50 against the bengals) through the air to make up for their anemic defense.

If the rest of your team is solid, go with Griese. He's more likely to give you a 1- or 2-TD game with about 200 yards and not lose you many points. If you think you might need a huge game from your QB, go with Plummer. The Chiefs defense is AWFUL, and the Broncos RB situation is not as good as it has been, as Droughns is wearing down and Tatum Bell is injured.

Also, I'd go with the Chargers' D. The Browns put up all those points on Cincinnati (terrible D) with Kelly Holcomb at QB. Unless something has changed, he's hurt and won't play. Jeff Garcia is also out for the year. Their offense is a disaster. Go with the Bolts.

Griese and Plummer is a toss-up. Both have solid receiving corps and are playing very weak defenses. I would lean towards Griese, though, based on the good weather they'll have this Sunday in Tampa.

I would also take San Diego versus Cleveland. I think the Brownies had like 27 total yards of offense last week. Dallas is dangerous with Jones in the backfield. Luke McCown is a joke at QB and the Browns won't do anything.

Griese for sure. He's having a good season.

Take the Lightning Bolts.... T.O is not going to play for the Eagles.... that'll hurt them.

Who would you put $$ on:

Team A
Plummer, Jake QB DEN/Griese, Brian QB TB
Johnson, Larry RB KC/Jackson, Steven RB STL
Tomlinson, LaDainian RB SD
Evans, Lee WR BUF
Smith, Jimmy WR JAC
Wayne, Reggie WR IND
Gates, Antonio TE SD
Lindell, Rian K BUF
Chargers, DST SD/ Eagles, DST PHI

Team B
Hutchinson, Chad QB CHI/ Kitna, Jon QB CIN
Jones, Julius RB DAL
Westbrook, Brian RB PHI
Bennett, Drew WR TEN
Horn, Joe WR NO
Porter, Jerry WR OAK
Heap, Todd TE BAL
Brown, Josh K SEA
Rams, DST STL/Titans, DST TEN

This is a 16 team league, so teams get pretty thin.

I'm afraid Bennett or Westbrook will have another freakish day and burn me. Team B has been putting up monster numbers lately (he also has Carson Palmer who is, obviously, now injured and a non-factor).
