NFL Television Coverage - RANT
It's really really really really really really really really fucking annoying that I can't get the 'burgh & Jets game on any form of a local or satelite channel. I can only get the local FOX game which is Packers vs. Lions.
:mad::mad::mad: |
I know the feeling, I never get to watch my Chargers play and am also stuck watching the Packers and Lions.
|
There is a website that has links to free streaming content of NFL games, which can be found HERE.
|
I'm doomed I tell you, no Chargers there either.
|
It's really fucking annoying that no cable company offers NFL ticket either. It's even more fucking annoying that they show "all in the family" reruns instead of the Raider Falcon game, not that it was much of a game anyway. God damn sparrows.
|
I never really understood that either. I live in LA and all we get are Chargers or Raiders games. (no offens guys) but I don't want to watch that.
Who's in charge of this stuff and how come they're not fired? |

The reason why we get most of the Raiders/Chargers games is because the Raiders are by far the most popular team still in LA, and the Chargers have a decent fan base too. |
You know, I always thought it was weird cause we don't even have a football team and then they "decide" what game to put on. The NFL programming (or is it the broadcast people) have a weird methodology to their programming.
I think it would be better if they had some more carriers, even on cable or whatever as opposed to NFL ticket thingy which isn't even that great (I think). It used to be so much simpler. *sigh* NBA is ok though. There's a decent selection of games usually and stuff. Baseball too. Eh, we'll see. Thanks for the info. |
Well I won't complain because I'm die hard pack
so... what's the problem? ;) |

CBS coverage sucks as well, but its better than nothing. |
Even worse than the choice/selection of games, my local "canadian station that carries an american signal" opted, instead of showing the last 10 minutes of the Packers game yesterday, to switch to Malcolm in the Middle.
Seriously. :| |
Ugh! I hate that....they do it all the time. If the game is going into overtime all of a sudden it gets cut off. *shakes head*
|
Where I live in MD, CBS always airs the Ravens (except once or twice when Fox broadcasts, and Sun/Mon night games).
When the Ravens are not on, or its a double header, CBS only broadcasts other AFC North games, like Cinci vs Cle. I will never get to see a Indy vs KC game, except for final minute bonus coverage. Fox always broadcasts the Redskins, even though they have sucked for a long time. |
Cross-Over, I think the 'Skins game maybe because of where you live. Fox here in NE Ohio is pretty decent in showing different teams every week.
The AFC North thing must be part of the broadcast rules because that is how it is here also. (Only usually it's a Pitt game rather than a Bengals.) Same with the radio station that carries Browns games, if they have a late game or Sun/Mon night game, the radio station plays AFC North (again usually Pitt, sometimes Bengals) Just have to deal with it. Like baseball telecasts on Fox or ESPN are always like a choice of maybe 5-6 teams and the rest are SOL. |
NFL Sunday Ticket is the greatest creation evar!!!!!!!!
I have cable, so I go to a friends and watch his Directv. We flip games every commercial break. |

It definitely is a "rules" thing with CBS too, but it's no big deal. During the semester I usually only have time for one game anyways, and the Ravens are always on. |
