TFP Suicide Pool Week #3
 

Week #3 of the TFP Suicide Pool (or the survivors of the great massacre in Green Bay)

Week two has passed and the remaining players only need a couple of parking spaces. We started with 57 in week one, dropped to 40 for week two, and now only 17 remain. If your name is on the following list, you may continue on. If your name is not on this list, you are more than welcome to post a pick, if you are willing to receive harsh and embarrassing comments made about you since this is for the remaining participants only.

First a repeat of the rules:

1. Each week you must pick one team to win that week. (Point spreads are irrelevant!) If they win you continue on in the pool the next week. You lose, you are out.

2. You may only pick a team one time during the pool to win a game. Once you have picked a team, that can not be used for the remainder of the season. (This is where the strategy comes into play - choose wisely when to take your "sure thing" team.) If you “accidently” pick a team you have used previously, you will lose and then be prepared to be mocked and thoroughly embarrassed (hereinafter referred to as the “inharmony" rule).

Since this is a single elimination, be sure to have your pick in by midnight EST the night before the first game. If the mod (thanks again Spectre) locks the thread before you pick, you have not picked, and have lost.

Oh man - rough week. Glad I made it through though. I am now without Cinncinatti and Pittsburg though. . . I will have to be creative this week. . . I will come back and make my pick later this week.

Ok - I made my pick . . . for now. I pick Atlanta. They are due to lose and Arizona with Denny Green has to win at some point right? Well, hopefully not this week . . .

I may end up editing this before the thread is locked though. Is that legal? Minnesota may need to be inserted instead. Tough freaking week. I don't like anything else except the 'skins over the stupid ass Cowboys, but that might have something to do with me being a 'skins fan.

Absolutely legal. Your pick when the thread is locked is your pick. One player (who will remain nameless) from last week made a change before the thread closed and made that crucial adjustment to pick Green Bay. Change as often as you like, just make sure any change is in your first post. A second post in the thread adjusting your pick may be ignored.

They beat my Bucs last week generating an anemic 182 yds total offense. 1 for 14 on third down. But the Bucs defense is great and San Francisco's sucks so I'm figuring the 'Hawks will have a breakout home game going into their bye week. San Fran is starting a rookie QB too.

Damn I was going to pick atlanta until I remembered I already picked them in Week 1.
