TFP Suicide Pool Week #2
Week #2 of the TFP Suicide Pool (or then there was 40)
Week one passed and the herd is thinning. We started with 57 players and now have 40. If you name is on the following list, you may continue on. If your name is not on this list, you are more than welcome to post a pick, if you are willing to receive harsh and embarrassing comments made about you since this is for the remaining participants only. First a repeat of the rules: 1. Each week you must pick one team to win that week. (Point spreads are irrelevant!) If they win you continue on in the pool the next week. You lose, you are out. 2. You may only pick a team one time during the pool to win a game. Once you have picked a team, that can not be used for the remainder of the season. (This is where the strategy comes into play - choose wisely when to take your "sure thing" team.) If you “accidently” pick a team you have used previously, you will lose and then be prepared to be mocked and thoroughly embarrassed (we are only in week 2 people). Since this is a single elimination, be sure to have your pick in by midnight EST the night before the first game. If the mod (thanks again Spectre) locks the thread before you pick, you have not picked, and have lost. http://www.nfl.com/schedules Now on to the remaining participants. I'll take Cleveland in week 2.
I'm not sold on Dallas, and I don't think Cleveland's performance in week 1 was entirely a fluke. I like the team too, and that could be trouble, but we'll see.
