Bowling Team Name
 

I'm not sure if I'm ashamed of this but I need a new name for my bowling team that starts next Sunday. Normal bowling names disgust me. You know the ones: Alleygators, Splitz happen, Split This, all those annoying ones. :confused: I want to use short phrases or lines for the name. Last year, we used "San Dimas High School Football Rules!" from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. The normal bowling folk didn't quite understand it and we loved it. Can you help a rookie out? Let me know what you can think of. I appreciate it! :thumbsup:

How about fake business names, as if you had a sponsor?

Curl Up and Dye Beauty Salon
Sam 'n Ella's Cafe

I've had a bowling shirt idea for some time. I actually have lots of t-shirt ideas, but I need to hook up with a graphic artist (one look at the pic below tells you why). Anyway, you can be Team Pinhead. Then get the pic below embroidered on your shirts or towels or something. Of course, you'll want to get a version of it by someone who isn't terrible at making those things.

I think I mentioned this to you last year. My dad was on a team with 1 other man and 2 women and their team name was "4 balls and 2 splits" We all thought it was funny.

Just go as "unkown". Short and sweet. Here's a few others...

The hookers (it's bowling related, but funny)

Sticks and stones

I guess I could go on and on

I'd go with 80's pop music references:

The Culture Club
The Thompson Twins
Pet Shop Boys

...well you get the idea.

or movie names. Couple of old movie`s i watched lately seem apt.
The omega men. The Soylent Greens etc.

I like that idea. How about "Men in Bowling Shoes?"

My bowling team stole their name from the TV show Ed.

Heh my old team consisted of guys I also played baseball with, so we called our team "Strike Zone" with a logo of a baseball demolishing the pins.
