Ever since the movie Dodgeball hit the theaters, the sport/game has hit local gyms and recreational centers here.

I am in a league with some friends, and it's a lot of fun. We play a match one night a week, and there is also open dodgeball on another night each week.

Does anyone else play dodgeball, either for fun or in a league?

Did it start up after the movie for you also, or have the leagues and opportunities to play existed prior to the movie's release?

I've haven't played since college, but there was a league that started here in town somewhere around March of this year. From what I've heard it's been really popular and they've expanded the league to 2 nites.
