Michigan was the better team but the better team does not always win the game. I remember a NFL game last year where one team got outplayed in everything but the score...Houston Texans versus Pittsburgh or Cleveland. There were totally dominated but the Texans came up with a couple of defensive touchdowns and won the game. Winning the national championship takes a lot of luck and OSU was plenty lucky but I am far from saying that they were undeserving of the title. Michigan in 97 had a couple lucky bounces and won a game or 2 they probably should have lost but they won and took full advantage, same as OSU.
he missed four games due to this "stinger". While it may have not be very serious it was an injury. He missed half of his 2000 season in H.S. due to an injury. He missed the Bearcat game due to a scope for a torn mesicus. So he does have a history of missing games. He missed three and played sparingly in three others. Art |

Pretty reasonable picks you got there, absorbentishe. Except for the Big East: Virginia FUCKING Tech? Even as a pitt. fan i feel obliged to tell you that Miami will still be in the big east and Miami will still be dominant over both the panthers and the Hokies. However if you feel really strongly about the hokies, i'm sorry and start praying. On another note who do you think is going to win the C-USA?

jmf1234 I'm going out on a limb with VT, I really don't like either, I'm more of a 'cuse fan, but they can never seem to put it together to beat either VT or Miami, and I HATE to pick Miami. As for C-USA, UC should be the team to beat. I watched them last year and their offense got better with every game.
So I imagine your a Steeler fan? We finally got rid of the dead weight, thank god! |

ACC: Florida State, as much as I hate 'em, they'll be back.
Big East: Miami (who the hell else?) Big 12: SOONERS BABY! Big 10: Uhh, Purdue? Naw just playin, I'd love to say The Illini, but we all know its gonna be the Buckeyes. C-USA: Cincy PAC-10: USC SEC: Vols Baby! Heisman: Clarett Sugar Bowl: Tennessee (Yeah, I'm biased, but seriously, they ARE due, they've been getting really damn good recruiting classes for years, if Clausen would get his thumb out of his ass and throw the football, it'd be on.)
