looking for suggestions fpr a long weekend golf destination in November. Will be for me and a buddy and we want to drive from CHicago.

Have done AZ (too far for a weekend), Mrtyle Beach, Hilton Head...

Robert Trent Jones Golf trail in Alabamba? I think. A whole lot of golf to be had there.

The ultimate of course would be Pebble Beach and the Monterey area...Spanish Bay, Spyglass, etc. But that is expensive as hell and the weather may not be too good in November. That is too far for you anyways. Maybe North Carolina, Pinehurst area?
