Hey Pittsburg fans ( sion)

Gee, isn't it funny how a team can look so good one week and suck so bad another.

KC 41
Pitt 20

Balt 33
Cle 13
Might be interesting come Dec. yet.

BigGov 09-14-2003 03:56 PM

Yea, it might be interesting if Lewis can rush for 300 yards every game.

Otherwise, I wouldn't bet on it.

steelerz 09-14-2003 04:11 PM

Still beat you all last week didn't we?

crewsor 09-14-2003 04:29 PM

No you all didn't beat me. The Steelers beat the Ravens and I freely admit the Ravens sucked last week. But this week they are tied for first with Pittsburg.:D

jfranco13 09-14-2003 05:13 PM

Yeah but the Steelers got a hard game off their schedule and the Ravens got an easy game off theirs. I think the Steelers are still the favorites to win their division. Especially if the Brownies really are that bad :)

Sion 09-14-2003 10:56 PM

well, I suppose I deserved to be called out after the Stillers laid such a big egg against the Chefs. Enjoy that big win over the lowly Clowns, because even with Jamal Lewis' running, you wont be seeing more than 8-9 wins this season, max. Remember, not every team in the league has as terrible a D as Cleveland's.

djtestudo 09-15-2003 04:47 AM

Just like every team doesn't have as bad a passing game as the Ravens, right?

absorbentishe 09-15-2003 05:47 AM

The special teams killed us. Other than a couple of picks, and some stupid shit, we could have won the game. Oh yeah, we still beat the Ravens, handily last week!

JohnnyRock 09-15-2003 11:38 AM

everyone can have a good [ravens] or bad [steelers] week. We'll see how it shakes out after week 17!

C,mon, thats like saying if we hadn't lost we would have won.:D

The_Dude 09-15-2003 01:27 PM

yeah, like how texans beat miami one week and then lose against NO ?

heheh

wwcd101 09-16-2003 09:41 AM

Basically, I think the conclusion to draw is that everybody in the AFC North sucks pretty bad.

I don't know how much of this Browns rebuilding stuff I can take. Wait, tell me again why I have to put up with this??? Oh, that's right, it's because Evil Modell moved the damn team!!!

Thanks Art! And, thanks for listening.

crewsor 10-12-2003 03:58 PM

Man, the seasons just getting worse and worse for those Steelers. Shame.

Jdoe 10-12-2003 10:09 PM

As bad as it gets for us, not to worry. The Ravens will go nowhere again this year! Ok, defending aside...yes we suck ass this year. It's tough being a Steelers fan, especially a fan for 30 years. Oh wait...the Ravens wouldn't know what it's like to be around that long!

Jdoe

Post Script: Of course I love you!

crewsor 10-13-2003 03:43 AM

What do you mean going nowhere again? Don't I recall something about a Superbowl victory year before last. :D

djtestudo 10-13-2003 04:29 AM

I can guarrentee that if the Ravens had a receiver that could catch a ball thrown farther then 5 yards (other then Heap, of course) that we'd be 4-1 at least.

How 'bout we trade you Redman for Ward? We get a quality receiver and you get a real quarterback.

Jdoe 10-13-2003 11:51 AM

I'm thinking we should just feign the rest of the season and get a nice pick for a quarterback for next year! I'm quite interested to see how Mr. Bill handles this situation. He sat on Stewart for far too long, hopefully he won't make the same mistake again.

Looks like the first round of the playoffs anyway, surely thats somewhere. Excuse me for gloating.

AL9045 12-28-2003 02:29 PM

I bet you Lewis gets hurt trying to pursue the record.

crewsor 12-28-2003 04:08 PM

I sure hope not. I'm kinda torn between wanting him to sit or go for the record.

crewsor 12-28-2003 08:55 PM

Sweet victory, what a night. The hated Steelers defeated, Lewis goes over 2000 yds. Titans here next week for playoff game.

djtestudo 12-28-2003 09:25 PM

Ravens are going to the Super Bowl.

Steve McNair is gonna be out by the second quarter from our pass rush, and O'Donnall will be pissing himself every play. Not to mention that McAlister and Baxter have shut down receivers WAY better then Mason and McCarrens.

KC has worse run D then Cleveland does. It doesn't matter where that game is played, as long as Lewis holds on to the ball he goes for 200 and three TDs in the win.

New England in Foxborough. The Ravens are an ideal team for the conditions in that stadium. We can eliminate their already-minimal running attack, and see the Tennessee paragraph for our secondary's prediction. The only question will be our running game against their D, so that will be a tough matchup and a great game, Ravens winning 13-6.

Not to get too far ahead of myself :D

monkeydriven 12-30-2003 12:43 PM

Sorry, but New England hopes they play Baltimore. The only team that can beat them is Tennessee...

crewsor 12-30-2003 01:07 PM

I don't know. If I'm New England and I saw the vicious hits the Ravens put on the Steelers I'd be rooting for slightly more mild mannered Titans.

aswo 12-30-2003 09:56 PM

I actually might have to go with the colts on this one, peyton is a deffinet stud and those colts when hot look pretty much unbeatable.

lions20 01-01-2004 01:09 PM

Baltimore would be dangerous if they had a better qb. I think Tenneesee will be the team to beat, but Denver can be a very strong force as well.

crewsor 01-01-2004 03:53 PM

You don't need a great Quarterback when you have a great defense and a great running game. Tennessee will be eliminated this weekend at Baltimore. And we already crushed Denver this season.

You don't need a great quarterback to win a playoff game, but if you want to win a Super Bowl, you need at least a solid veteran or a quarterback with experience in the playoffs or whatever.

I mean we saw this when the Ravens won back in 2000 or whenever. Trent Dilfer wasn't the greatest, but he had that veteran mentality, which helps out.

Ravens beat Titans, lose to whoever is in the next game.

Well you were wrong about Lewis getting hurt, so I just hope you're wrong about this also.
Realisticly, I know the Ravens can be beat by the Titans or any other team in the playoffs. But I also know they have a better than even chance of beating any team left. So I just talk smack and hope for the best.
Actually I revel in the fact that hardly anyone gives them a chance, because they are not a popular, glamorous team. It just makes each victory that much sweeter.

Well he didn't get the record either. :p. I'm somewhat of a Ravens fan, but I usually like passing teams more than running teams. :D.

They do have a chance though and they have been there before. I just don't think Anthony Wright will be able to step up when they need him to.
