Jamal Lewis
295 yards rushing. Breaks record of 275 held by Corey Dillon from 2000.
All I can say is that we don't need no stinkin' quarterbacks ;) |
Actually, the record was 278. I also can't help but think that a week of practice with Ray Lewis after last week's embarrasing performance had to help out today.
|
Ahh, I knew it was 278. I put that everywhere else I posted, but mistyped here. Ah well.
As for Ray, you could tell he had something to prove, and most definatly did so. |
Even though the Browns may have a weak defense I've gotta say, that's a monster number.

As a New York native, I gotta love a guy who talks the talk and then backs it up. Undoubtedly a big story this week, but you know it would be much much bigger and all over the place had Lewis played for a NY team.

Wow, he actually called it that he was going to break the record and then he did. That is like pointing to the outfield when you are about to hit a homerun. That is awesome!

an amazing feat for the guy.

I didn't realize when he guarantees a record because so many athletes make 'guarantees,' it's not even worth bothering anymore. However, it is amazing to make a guarantee not on something like a victory but to smash an all-time single game record not during the course a season but on a specific game. Way to go, Jamal!

And can beat the living crap out of most defenders easier than any other TE in the league :P
