Is anyone watching the US open?
I swear this Capriati match is driving me nuts...
Also, Agassi seems like a steamroller... I'd love to see Justine Henlin win this match. |
That last shot from Justine that held up and caught the net....that was the turning point in the match.
This woman kicks ass
JUSTINE KICKED ASS!!!
I wanted to see Henin lose, but by the end of the match, I didn't mind seeing her win. She's amazing!
Yes...she kicked Jennifer's ass - it was a great, great match, though.
ALLEZ JUSTINE!
that was one hell of a match!! Justine all the way!! |
Yes - I hope that she wins tomorrow!
Juan Carlos is the man. Who says Spaniards can only play on the clay?
Andre got owned - I don't know what to say about that...clay or not, Juan Carlos was on it today!
NO
Nope. I used to love tennis in the McEnroe, Conners, Lendl, Navratilova era but now no individual generates enough interest for me to want to watch.
Andy Roddick should generate plenty. 140+ mph serves, and handily beating the #1 player in the world tonight in straight sets.
Did anybody see Roddick win? He crushed Ferraro. Roddick's endorsement rates just skyrocketed. All of that emotion and running into the crowd to find his friends...
Hrothgar....
Those were the days m8. Excellent players and carachters. |
i´m so glad Justine finished it!!
and that Roddick guy is awesome. imo, the US open is always simply brilliant. (not quite as good as the Aussie Open - but then, i´m biased). |
The US crowds drive me nuts, cheering like mad on an unforced error, but other than that I always enjoy watching the Open. The French open and Wimbledon
are better IMHO. I'm very happy with this years results. |
