Rome Tour Stop
 

Jim Rome is doing a tour stop in my home town (Austin)... has anyone gone to one ? Is it worth it to go ? (parking hassles, waste of a night, etc)

I imagine if you like Rome and the culture surrounding his show it would be quite entertaining. Rome is great at promoting himself and getting his audience involved. Besides you don't get many chances to see him, and if it sucks your only out an evening.

Now if you are irritated by the clones and only listen to him because Bill O'Reilly is on the other station, I'd stay away. But I may be interjecting a bit too much of my own biases there. ;)

I want to go bad. I graduated from Texas in May of '02 and started to listen to Rome when I moved back to Houston for work. Hopefully, I can get a ducat. I have been wanting to go to a Tour Stop since I started listening to the show. Plus, I miss Austin.

I'm a HUGE Rome fan. I'm looking forward to a Canadian Tour Stop...

I saw him once in person. I don't think it's worth it, unless you're getting the tickets for free, or close to it.

If it's not worth it for Rome, it most certainly is for all the hometown guys he gets to show up.
