Mendenhall opens mouth.... fantasy fallout?
 

so this week i happened to be looking at the waiver wire and saw that "fast" Willie Parker went down with a knee injury and heralded rookie Rashard mendenhall was gonna get his chance to start and bulk carry this Sunday. Needless to say i scooped him up.

then today i found this article...

so he basically has popped off to one of the best run defenses in the league. do i count on his abilities or do i scrap him in favor of one of my bench backs like Lendale White or Ricky Williams?

You might as well drop him now, since he'll be no use at all when he's put on IR Tuesday morning.

Can't use Williams; Miami has a bye week. White is going up against a defense that's ranked 4th in rushing yards allowed. Stick to your guns and keep Parker in the starting lineup. Maybe he'll walk the walk and not just talk the talk.

Yeah White is up against a pretty stout run defense in the Vikes. I'd say sit em'.

Mendenhall is a fucking tank who can fun a 4.4. He's sick. Who cares if they want to chase after him after he made a joke.

Sep 30 Mendenhall suffered a fractured shoulder against Baltimore on Monday night, and is out for the season.

Advice: Mendenhall was injured in his first NFL start. He will be placed on injured reserve, according to Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.
