Less than one short week away, Yahoo fantasy baseball opens up for registration! Now I know we had some drama last year, and donuts swore not to return as commish, but I hope we can put all that behind us, get a new commish, and have a great year. Who's with me? Anyone want to volunteer to be commissioner (Donuts, I'm looking at you...)?

I am in as always, I just really REALLY REALLY hope we can have active participants, every year it seems we have a guy or two who abandons their team and that gets under everyones skin.

Also as a pain in the ass as it can be, we really need all rules laid out ahead of time, as far as what is legal vs what is not vs what is touchy vs what is expected of you in fairness to everyone else.

I agree entirely. Does anyone know what donuts tfp name is? I honestly thought he did a great job as commish, and I would love to have him back next year. I will step up though, if no one else will.

I can't remember donouts tfp name. If no one wants to, I will set up the league. I would use the default settings and rely on everyone to fully participate. If someone can't or doesn't for some reason that team would remain static. No adjustments. That just seems to create too much acrimony.

I believe Donuts is dylanmarsh or something like that, I could be mistaken though.

He may not even be active on the TFP anymore, but he did do football so who knows.

if someone does create the league just pm me the pw and league id I will join.

I'll join..... I was RedBengalsBrownTribe or along those lines can't remember exactly (play on the Ohio pro teams....).

I know last year I tried to start a keeper league and it failed miserably, I feel I was too soft at the start and when the hammer needed to fall I had lost control.

So whomever wants to be Commish.... be firm, fair and stand by your decisions from day 1, otherwise, you find people have no respect for you when you do need to do your job.

I have created the league. It is Head-to-head using standard settings. I'll take requests on settings changes.

The live draft is SATURDAY MARCH 17th @ 12:30am. Yes, St. Patty's day. I figure that's a good date because you'll at least get a good feel for your potential players if you pay attention to spring training. If you have any problems, let me know and I'll see about accomodating.

Draft time works well for me. Are we all sold on the stat categories though? Personally I'd like to see OBP added for hitters and Losses added for pitchers, but either way I'm excited.

Once you sign up, please post here what your team name is. I'll compile everyone's username/team name in one post so we can send you reminders throughout the year if you happen lose track of your team.
