MLB Park Factors

I don't know if anyone here is interested in the more in depth statistics out there but if you are this might interest you. The link has 3 year average park factors for all parks from A level to MLB. Each factor is league specific. You can tell a lot about what level of success a hitter or pitcher may or may not have at a certain park. You can also tell what types of players a team should go after.

Example 1:
Team R H 2B HR BB SO
Los Angeles (N) 0.90 0.94 0.86 1.12 0.90 1.06

From that you can tell that LA's stadium suppresses doubles but is favorable to home runs. It also suppresses batting average to some extent.

Based on that, LA should attempt to aquire players that get more of their slugging from HR's than doubles.

Example 2:
Team R H 2B HR BB SO
Cleveland 0.92 0.94 1.08 0.82 1.06 1.00

Cleveland's park suppresses HRs by almost 20%. This means that Cleveland is a safe place for a FB pitcher to play in. Teams should also be wary about aquiring a FB pitcher who did well in Cleveland.
