I just had a blurb of curiousity - for those of you men who are in a relationship, does she ever give you lapdances? Discuss freely :D

Lot's of folks will probably hate me for this - but my wife not only gives me a lapdance and a show once in a while, she also enjoys someone else giving me one sometimes when we're out. We've always been very open and honest with eachother and it seems that its almost a kind of turn on for her to see some other scantily clad girls dancing around me and giving me attention.

While not in response to the particular query in the OP, I thought some might fight this interesting.

If you can get your date to go to a strip club, the dancers will sometimes give the female patrons a free lap dance. And allow me, uh, them, to put their hands in a place the fellas would get thrown out for.

I haven't been to a strip club in years though, not since I found that the private kind, both giving and recieving, is a lot more fun than recieving one from some strange girl in a bar.

I've always tried to get my SO's to dance for me. They're always too self-concious for it though. I've never got that... because they have all loved to have sex infront of the mirror.

So I've done the dancing. Put on some good grinding music and strip down to the boxer-briefs. It usually goes for a couple songs until she cant take it and puts me in her mouth (a good way to start IMO).

I just wish they would get over their insecurities and return the favor.

I gave lapdances to someone I used to date.

I spent some years dancing, plus did some gogo (non naked though) for a little bit of time so I guess I had some training haha.

It was interesting. We observed the same rules typically as these types of establishments had. No touching and such. I loved slowly stripping down, slightly grinding on him, making him antsy cause he couldn't touch me. Music was key too, sometimes I'd choose something sensual, softer, and other times you bust out Prodigy -Firestarter or some pantera LOL.

Unfortunately (I think), it always led to the bed..I was never that great at containing myself.

No, it's four. They said that every girl they worked with (literally) at the three clubs had been or were addicts at one point. So that's like 40 girls. Also, when I read Jenna Jameson's biography, she mentioned how everyone was addicted to various drugs. I was merely relaying their statements, and stand behind mine.

Well, if you read my long and self-indulgent posts in the "does stripping exploit women?" thread, then you know I'm not in denial about the seamier side of the biz.

But still, take my experience: I had two four-month stints during which I was, to put it delicately, a raging cokehead. Each time, I got scared and quit cold-turkey without any intervention or 12-step program or rehab. After the second stint, I never touched it again. (That was well over a decade ago.) I don't think I ever had a serious addiction, or I wouldn't have been able to leave it alone like that. (It was the same with alcohol: I often drank too much while I was dancing, because it was just part of the lifestyle. Now I drink very moderately....Unless, of course, you put a case of '61 Petrus in front of me. Then I would be quite immoderate. :))

And I don't think that my two brief, long-ago tangles with the white pony should somehow disqualify me as a potential partner now. (If I'm not mistaken, you advised against ever dating an ex-stripper.) There may be lots of other good reasons not to date me, but that, I think, is not one of them. So there. :p

Of course, if you'd run into me in the club during one of those four-month stints, my behavior would've supported your contention that virtually all dancers have drug problems (and I think you used the present tense in your first post. Including dancers who have indulged in illicit drugs at one point or another in their lives definitely increases the percentage)....But at any other time during my 13-year involvement in the industry, you would've said, "Wow, a dancer who doesn't do drugs!" (That is, if you even believed me.)

As for the percentage of dancers who "have or have had drug problems," how 'bout we just say it's "considerably higher than that of the general population"? ;)

Oh, and about lapdances for my man: It's weird, but I haven't done it very often. Not that I'd have any objections whatsoever, if it were requested. Maybe it loses some of its mystique for a BF if he knows that you've done it in a professional capacity??

Well, I would never call myself a "former drug addict." To me, the term "addict" implies that you cannot stop when you decide that the drug is detrimental to your well-being. I'd say I experimented with cocaine and then quit. But perhaps your definition of drug addict is different. Or maybe you just wouldn't want to date a woman who had any history of drug use. Certainly your prerogative...but what if you liked a woman first and then later found out that she had indulged in some illegal substance during her youth?

I guess I was just wondering if it would be hotter for guys psychologically to be lapped by a reserved woman who would never be a stripper in real life, or if, by contrast, some guys found the idea of a "professional" giving it to them for free to be a greater turn-on/ego-boost.

I'd pretty much agree with that. I don't think a stripper (or anyone, in general) should be shunned for past behavior unless they've proven that they can't be given anymore chances. My impression from the cocaine addicts I know is that it's going to be a lifetime addiction for them, which I want no part of. If the person can stop doing drugs on a permanent basis, then I'm all for it - it's a great way to see their strength, which is attractive to me at least. If I got the impression that they weren't recovered completely, they would be thrown out of my life so fast there would be a sonic boom.

But yeah, to bring this fully to the topic, people should be able and ready to change any opinions they might have about strippers, just like any other stereotypes.

How do you other girls feel about receiving lap dances? I have to say I find them as much of a turn on as giving them.

Haven't posted in here in a couple months... just wanted to say I went to a strip club for the first time on Wednesday for a bachelor party, and late in the evening, one of the girls came back from break with some cocaine still on her nose. I was like wtf, you have something on your nose, and she was all nonchalant when she figured out what it was and wiped it off.

And to make this more topical, lap dances are still fun and I hope more girls try out doing them for their partners. If nothing else, a lapdance shows some sort of effort in being sexy for your partner, which is hot on it's own.
