Ok, so, I made note to my wife about this and she was VERY confused but interested.

Does anyone else see flashes of things when they cum?

On everyday orgasms, i see mostly color fields, Red is the least interesting, blue is intense and white is effing outstanding.

I recently had one during a wonderfully slow lovemaking session where I saw a vision of a reddish tan desert with a dark blue sky. then a pillar formed slowly out of sand and began to be illuminated until being blindingly white. um... I think you know what happened then. My wife says that it was the most beautiful orgasm I have ever had.

So, I have odd visions, my wife does not. What about you?!

I have had visions before. Color flashes are probably due to pressure building up behind my eyes. But I've also had the "altered state" visions that you describe. Lots of chemicals involved in orgasm ...

I would guess that this is along the lines of seeing fireworks. Remember that Brady Bunch episode when Peter (or was it Bobby?) saw fireworks when he kissed that girl? This is probably along the same lines, except a more adult version of it.

Yah, I don't have visions by my vision clears, so it's a revelation of some sort and I think to myself:

"ah crap...not again"

I normally have a naked woman in my vision but no visions.

I can't say I've ever seen visions during orgasm...

Probably more due to the effect of (momentarily) very high blood pressure on the brain.

I can't say I've ever had this happen though.

Visions are extreme, hmm I’ll see if I can't look it up, but in men specifically have a physiological reaction to orgasm I think its impossible to think while it happens. Your mind clears or something weird like that.

Nothing wrong with you, you’ve just got a slightly different reaction to what most everybody has.

Can't say as if I have had "visions" persay, but I usually see intense colors, or fields of colors, sometimes they can be rather kaleidoscope in nature. Sometimes I will see stained glass windows (or that sort of thing). At first I found it rather unnerving and sometimes distracting, mostly because I only get these colorations if I am having a particularly intense series of orgasams, but now I find them comforting and rather an added benefit to an amazing orgasam or more.

I always have visions of this woman with multicoloured hair and a body to die for ;) its been happening now for over two years :)

I don't get the visions you talk about. But I do see images. It doesn't happen often, and only happens when I am relaxed and not concentrating on her (blowjobs mostly). If I close my eyes, sometimes, just sometimes I can see very vividly images of happy places we have been together.
There is a wonderful river near the post office in Bellingham, Washington. Normally I see that place. But it has also been our favorite coffee house in Utah, and the library in Utah.
We've never had sex in any of these places, but we have shared close moments there.

i had "the whole world goes red" experience with some regularity with the most recent ex.

I have had colour flashes and different series of hologram like images involving my partner and I. If the lovin' was really allowed to progress I was often in a nonverbal place where an intense echo was going on - but I don't want to dip into those visions and get all horny :(

well.. i'v enever had a vision.. but on those rare occastions where we just happen to do something right .. (maybe it has tantric roots) both the wife and I have experienced whta we call "clouds", These occur when were either giving oral (for her) or hand jobs (for me).

you get close and then you just kind of .. loose focus.. and instead of having an orgasm that you feel where you'd expect to .. your mind just kind of .. pulls back, alomst like being very dizzy and/or half asleep .. and the orgasm that you have you can't pinpoint where the sensation is coming from as you're so out of it and distant, it's truly mind blowing and well worth trying to do again.
