Nails in the back (and other places)
 

the "mistakes women make" thread got me to thinking about how many men enjoy getting gouged/scratched during sex.

I really do not enjoy it when i'm scratched. It's quite painful and can really dampen the mood for me. Nearly all i can think about when a girl's digging in her nails is when she will switch her grip to a pillow or the sheets instead. I really don't need "war wounds" to show my buddies either. I would much rather the girl show her appreciation with a blowjob instead.

This poll is to gauge how many men enjoy this, and for what reasons. If your reason is not on the poll, pick other and tell me why on the thread. :)

To each their own, but pain and sex don't work for me. I'd stop the pain (and everything else).

Not into nails so much, just doesn't do it for me, but a little hot candle wax... ;)

Ill take whatever as long as i dont end up with a burned nipple again or itch from a scab that i cant reach. Also would like to beable to sit on a chair 30 mins later.

I like it when she does that, but not for the pain. It's more about the idea that I'm giving her that much pleasure. Plus while we're going at it I find I don't really feel it all that much and a bit of stinging after doesn't bother me.

I can't see your poll results (wish I could) but it seems to me that there's a big difference between "scratching" and "gouging." It seems like it would be one thing to have a red mark with no or little skin broken, and another thing altogether to have an actual chunk taken out of your back with bleeding and scabs for days. Do you guys agree?

I don't mind if she digs her nails into me as long as the area that's being dug into doesn't turn into a colour such as purple (once it turned green... :hmm: ) and as long as the skin doesn't break.

Not my kinda thing. I'm a wuss, if a girl were to scratch me, I'd probably start crying about it.

But seriously, I'm just not into it.

i dont mind it.. it's fun to know i can get that out of her! :) but if i see blood, i'll tell her to take it easy.

I voted for the "she is that excited" response, but I also like the pain a little bit.

generally I like a little bit of pain and then realize the scratches/bruises later on.

I am not much of one for any blood though. blood for the sake of blood is kind of *shrugs*

My cousin's back and arms look like he's been to war - and this after three months with a gouger. He says he doesn't like the scars, but he likes it when she gets all worked up during sex and the expression of pleasure it represents. He jokes that afterplay now consists of her playing nurse with Antiseptic. :)

Personally I've had to hold one girl by the wrists behind her head, because she couldn't keep herself from digging into my back. I was tired of bleeding.

I think I get off on the power trip more than anything else. It's like you're turning this sweet, innocent girl into this lust-hungry animal and she's just so horny she can't do anything but dig into your back or bite your shoulder or anything else that shows that she's lost all control and isn't thinking about what she's doing.

At times like that, you take a scratch or two in the line of duty.

I would insert a bad pun about us both getting nailed, but that would seem to be in rather poor taste.

I think the women who do this are not of the 'can't help it' variaty but the 'I think I am suppose to do it' type.

The whole nails in the back is sort of cliche. I've had women squeeze very hard with their hands and howl like a shebeast, but at no point did they need to draw blood. They can help it but obviously some think its part of sex.

i have had to stop and tell her to grab a blanket or something, its just too much when you can feel all 10 fingers peirce your skin :( im all for her being excited but whole crap cut your nails then!

I like the pain, I like that she is that excited... although (taking a note from UStwo) some women can take a good thing too far. It isn't the drawing of blood that bothers me rather it is the few women I've been with who were just over the top in their performance (i.e. they were howling and writhing like a porn star... so much so that it shifted from, "wow, I'm really making her hot" to "Christ, she doesn't have to lay it on so thick, a simple shudder or Oh My God would have sufficed).

Yeah my wife is a biter and a scratcher so when its intense I usually come away with a bruise or two. I like it, enough to where if I'm close it will send me over the edge, but I'm not a whips n chains kind of guy. She's never drawn blood before though.

I said yes because it shows me how excited she is. Her doing that really ups the intensity

On a scale of one to ten on how much I like this.... it's about a 17 or so.

Can I just say that the "majority" that was spoken of in the mistakes women make thread, seems to be going the other way in this poll. It said the majority of men dont like it this poll says 71% DO like it and 29% DONT

I don't mind pain or blood.. it's a turn on but it isn't needed to have fun. If it's enjoyed by both parties then it's off to the pain train :p

While it isn't my favorite thing in the world, if she is that "excited" that she has to do that, I'm all for it.

Better that than sucking/biting on my botton lip so hard that it bleeds (the only other purposefully painful thing I've experienced during sex).

I think the results are very interesting. 3/4 of men (on TFP- which makes the poll somewhat biased) like getting scratched.

Of those 3/4, a large majority like scratching because it shows she is excited. Being in the minority here, i'd like to ask members if they like the nails thing specifically, or if they just like the women displaying how excited she is (by you, of course.)

Well both really, I do like the pain that comes with being bitten or scratched or my hair pulled, but only during sex. Any other time I don't like it. But it's really awesome that she gets that worked up, that's the main thing.

I love it. I always have long red marks up and down my back after my girlfriend sleeps over. She's actually drawn blood a couple of times and that only made it better. I also love it when she bites (my shoulders, chest, arms, neck, etc). I got lucky to find a girl who's as passionate and animalistic in bed as I am.

As for whether I like it because she's excited or because of the pain, it's both.
