Anyone ever heard or used a penis plug (do a search in Ebay mature audiences if you do not know what one is)? It appears to be a device for stimulating the inside of the penis by insertion into the urethra. Looks interesting.

isn't this called sounding? I've had a swab and a catheter inserted and it just wasnt' all that much fun... that said, there are many who find it a turn on.

Never heard of those.. I remember reading up about these tuning forks (well not really just metal rods but then they'd tap and the vibrations were supposed to bring pleasure) men and women would put in their urethra's think it was calling honing or something like that.

One thing keeps getting noted over and over. TFP has a way of exposing thoughts, interests and viewpoints that would I never have known existed without finding a post about it. Sounding is suprising common among the bodymodification scene. A lot of people like Prince's Wands (the object shown earlier), but some go for standard sounds, such as this. there definently was stimulation from movement in the urethra...

the guys that said they have had the cotton swab in the urethra thats not very similar in texture to the smooth and highly polished metal these things are made of so i think these would feel a lot nicer...

OK, quick update, I have it now, thank you USPS! I must agree with the recommendation of the steelwerks link, definitely get a 1/4" unit. The one I bought was is almost 3/8", so it looks like I will be machining it down some, thankfully I have a pretty complete workshop, so it should not be too difficult.

As for the felling, feels pretty good on partial insertion, can't wait to try it all the way once it is machined down.

BTW, I purchased on about 2" long with a through hole and a ring on the end, it looks pretty cool!

Just an update, the machine work is done and it is just over 1/4" in diameter at the widest point now, and fully polished again. As for the feeling, it is pretty wild. The feeling on insertion is quite amazing, and not painful at all. Due to the groove near the top, once it is in, it stays in until a gentle tug to remove it. Since it has a hole through it, urinating and cumming are quite interesting. Probably the best feeling comes from sheer weight of the unit, it is not heavy, but the weight definitely adds a unique twist to it, as it hangs.

All in all, not something that I would use everyday, but definitely worth the try, and pretty cool looking too.

Most of the things I have read say you can, I can't imagine my wife being game to try it though. There are some that have bumps down the lenght of them that I would imagine would lead to some rather interesting sensations during intercourse.

Not to further shock the already shocked (so to speak), but if you search the web for "electrosex" you'll find that there are a fair number of people out there using things like the above referenced Princes Wand (or its non-piercing version) as an electrode for electrical stimulation (which, I can tell you, feels very very good).

I'm in the medical field and all judgements aside, the one MAJOR dowside is infections. And these could range from minor to amputation. Otherwise it does feel good. Be careful and see a doctor is problems arise.

They're lots of fun, but USE LUBE. Nothing sucks more than rubbing your urethra raw and then having to pee. Lube is your friend, but make sure it's water based and test a little bit of it before going crazy to make sure it doesn't cause any uncomfortable sensations. Have fun!

Why? If properly cleaned between uses and used with clean hands and a non-irritating water-based lube how would stainless steel transmit said infection?

I've used them for years without any problems or infections whatsoever.

Just imagine going through a metal detector in an airport with one of those in. I can just imagine the look on the security guard's face when you tell him/her what is causing the alarm to sound.

Well, I would certainly not wear it in a situation like that, but any other time, others would never even know it is there. As for infection, etc. I mimic the other comments, it is surgical stainless stell and so you just need to keep it clean.
