Lubricant w/ spermicide?
 

I was wondering if anyone knows of any lubricant (like Wet or something) that also has Spermicide in it?

Good luck finding any. It seems like they have really phased out non-oxyl-9 spermicide in lubes. I have read that nonoxyl-9 induced skin irritiations can make one more open to the transmission of Hiv/Aids. You can still find condoms with spermicide on them easily, but im sure if you search online you can find some lube.

I've never heard of one....doesnt meant it doesnt exist....but I will pass this along....some girls are allergic to non-oxyl 9......Im HIGHLY allergic to it....so if you're using it with a partner, if you find some, make to to take it easy with it until you know for sure it wont cause any problems :)

lol shani i've had the same problem...i'm not anymore..but the first time i used a condom with that stuff on it i broke out in lots of little blisters all down there..i was sure i had herpes..it took 3 days and alot of panic to find out i was just broken out from the condoms

i think they've actually found out that it doesn't work as well as they thought in the first place... and it IS a serious irritant to some girls, and makes them prone to UTI's as well (urinary tract infections)

i have also heard of the same problems. and i have not seen or been able to find any with both. good luck

Not good stuff, nonoxyl-9. It's why my wife and I use Kimono brand condoms. The damn stuff is like poison to the both of us.

I'd been looking for that stuff too as a back-up birth control, very sorry to hear its off the market/didn't work anyway.

When's the male pill supposed to come out? I'd get on that in a heartbeat.

Yeah, they showed that using spermicide with condoms did not decrease the chances of pregnancy. Of course, condoms are 94% effective in the field (99% theoretical effectiveness), which is mostly human error, like not putting it on properly, ripping the pack open with teeth, etc.
