Ok so who here has their nipples pierced, I know there has to be some...

BUt anyways, I really want to get mine done but I can't get a straight story on what it's like to get them done. I'm a big wuss, but I love the way they look.

Can anyone share their stories with me?

Also is it true that it doesn't affect breast feeding later on in life?

How can I find the best piercer that I feel super comfortable with?

That's my other thing, Who will I be comfortable showing my boobies too? :D

me also wimp...mostly.
i think i got my tat and my tongue pierced months before my nips, and i pierced my nose 2x as a teenager, and my lip once in early 20s. those i did by myself. (not recommended, of course).
getting my nipples pierced was definitely the most intense of all.
is a very strong sensation, i don't call it pain, just sensation, in this case anyway...nice thing with piercings tho is when done professionally, it's very quick. ..altho with nips you have to experience it once and then once again, once u kno how it feels.
(but i'd never suggest just getting one done. lopsided != good, imo).

even tho i'm a wimp, my general philosophy regarding such things is "a moment of pain for a lifetime of pleasure" ..or enjoyment, or beauty or decoration or all of the above.
ya just gotta jump in and do it.

that's what i've heard, and i'm assuming it to be true. i'm sure there's rare exeptions, a poorly done or healed piercing creating scar tissue or just bad placement, but i've a feeling that's rare. just have a respectable professional do it.

well visit the local tattoo and peircing places... you can ask to talk to the peircer... see which seems the most friendly... and the most clean... they should clean all their tools in autoclaves between every use... etc...

i heard about mine from recommendations friends/coworkers.

so, maybe u can find some people you kno who've got theirs pierced and ask them who did it?

or/and, just check the shops, see if you can meet the piercer.

but personally i think is better to do the first...or both.

I dont want to scare you but piercings hurt, I have 4 facial peircings & the question I always get asked is "did it hurt??" well of course it did! Its not a totally unpleasant xperience & I get off on the adrenaline buzz, but dont go in expecting/hoping it wont hurt because it will. The pain is (imo) different to getting a smack or somethign like that, Its an intense concentrated kind of sensation. As SiN said "intense"

Sensation, huh? Well I would call it pain. But a very quick pain. I've never really had sensitive nipples, but I certainly felt this. But I do stress quick. 10 seconds of pain, and then it doesn't feel like anything. And I do agree with Sin as with the moment of pain, lifetime of pleasure bit. Knowing the pain, I would still do it again.

As far as the only doing one being lopsided, well I disagree. I only have one done, and I personally think that one pierced is very sexy. But I think its more personal opinion than anything else.

I've only had mine for 2 months, but I love it. Doesn't really hurt after the initial penetration. A little sore for two weeks, but moreso just lets you know its there, then pain. OH, don't wear fleece or any other 'grabby' shirts without something inbetween. OWW. Not fun.

haven't done it yet, lack of funds...

A friend of mine got it done, and said she almost passed out due to the pain. She was sore for a couple of weeks, but after that she siad it was all good. It does affect breastfeeding, making it difficult if not impossible according to people I've heard about it from. I've heard that there's a way to do it wthout causing damage, but that's the extent of my knowledge.
