Question for the girls about (comfy) thongs
K, ladies, I have a question.
I love my girlfriend in a thong, but she's always complaining that they're uncomfortable. So, my question to you is, do you know of any specific brands or designs that are really comfy? Is there such a thing? If I find some good prospects, I might get her to wear more by getting her some for Christmas. Thanks. |
Mmm,
Could be that your GF just doesn't like the feel of the strap between her cheeks. Occassionally I will wear the wife's thongs and it does take awhile to get used to :D |
it DOES take getting used to...I used to couldnt stand them..but I persevered and got to the point where I dont notice them at all now....make sure she's getting the right size..example...I usually wear a 7 in regular undies but in thongs I get an 8 so they arent so tight that I can feel them

I have some thongs made of an EXCELLENT material. They are tagless, lycra, Hanes thongs that are stretchy and modestly made. Very nice for comfort.

The 'trendy' thongs now are Hanky Panky.

:) (I'm suggesting these 2 higher-end options because, well, it is christmas ;) ) |
i am with your gf; i personally have never found thongs comfy to wear, regardless of the material, design, etc. however, she doesnt have to wear them all the time when you cant see them. if you ask her nicely, i am sure she would be willing to put one on to fulfill your fantasy every now and then.

My wife wears thongs all the time and finds them extremely comfortable. I would suggest that it has to do with 1) fit and 2) material. My wife's are mostly really good cotton, and they fit perfectly.
I have worn a thong on several occassions myself and find that they are comfortable, just not the same as underwear that does not live up your crack. I thikn it has something to do with getting used to them. I find them a little naughty, which gives me an almost permanent erection, which makes them slightly tighter, which is sometimes not so comfortable. However, I doubt that your girlfriend will have the same problem, but I don't you you very well so... Pierre |
My girl just doesn't wear anything.

Thin part goes in back....
just make sure you abide by that guideline. |
as others said, it's all about fit and material. i generally go up a size in thongs and prefer cotton for comfort if i'll be wearing it all day. my all time favorite is one i picked up from victoria's secret (the matching bra sucked but it's the most comfy thong i own). i also have several lovely thongs in various other materials that i wear for special occassions.

My wife used to not like real thin straps in the back, now she likes those the best. It takes a while to get used to them, but once she does, she'll be fine. I suggest buying several different types for her to try, and she'll find one style she likes the best.

I've found that cotton thongs in a slightly larger size than I usually wear are quite comfortable. Victoria's Secret makes an all-cotton thong that is very light fabric with a stretchy wide lace waistband, and I can barely tell I'm wearing anything.
|
I really go for DKNY cotton stretchy thongs. I've found them to be even more comfortable than the VS cotton thongs. You can find the DKNY ones at any upscale retailer like Nordstrom's, and invariably they're on sale...I've never seen them not on some kind of sale ;)
One recommendation I would make, though, is that your wife put on a thong and wear it in a comfortable situation all day--like lazing around the house. It will get her used to wearing one and make it easier to wear in an everyday kind of situation in place of regular underwear. But for some people wearing a thong is just not something that comes easy or naturally. |
Im real glad to know Im not the only one that gets a larger size!!
|
Y'know, I've found thong sizes are really odd...some, like VS, it's better to buy a bit bigger...but the ones Gap Body makes are okay smaller...I have this blue mesh thong from Gap Body that is a small, and I'm by no means small.
|
I've found the Victoria's Secret mesh v-string from their new Pink! line is the most comfy thong I own. They have thin enough material that's in your crack that you don't have to worry about bunching.

/me is now unable to reply to this thread after reading that  |
The most comfortable thongs I own are body by victoria thongs, and one that has a very thin strap in back...I think the thinner strapped ones are more comfortable...and as previously posted, too small = very bad!!!
