Condom Types, and advantages thereof.

I apologise if this is a kind of duplicate thread, feel free to delete this if so, I'll just post there.

Me and my girlfriend have been using Durex Featherlite Condoms for 2-3 months. Now, the other night we ran out so on Sunday in a public toilet, I saw the condom machine, and saw the "Fun" condoms. So I thought 'what the hell' got my 2 quid out, popped it in, pulled the handle, turns out they're "ribbed". Now when I first got it out the packet, I noticed the roll was much thicker than the featherlite's, and my initial thought was that I wasn't gonna feel shit. When I slipped in on it was much much snugger than the Featherlites, especially round the base which always felt like it was rolling up and these Durex Ribbed were also very well lubricated.

The sex was fantastic, the snugger condom gave me more sensations (I am incredibly desensitised) and it also caused me to penetrate deeper and use the ribs at the base of the condom. My partner found these condoms absaloutely fantastic, and I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know this was the first time we came together, not a second apart.

All in all, one of my best experiences.

Now, what I'm really wondering is what kind of problems and solutions, and any recommendations of you guys.

i use durex intense sensations, which are about the same thing, but with studs instead of ribs, and my girlfriend says that she likes them. if i have to wear a condom they are as good as any other that i have tried.

The worst thing I found about condoms was not so much the lack of sensation, but that sometimes they would slip down or off because I liked to have intercourse for long periods of time. I found the best condom to use was the Mentor brand with adhesive. Yes it sounds horrible, and they are not very handy to carry around, but they would stay on without question.

don't know if this is precisely related, but might be useful...

i've found that Durex Extra Sensitive and Lifestyles regular lubricated condoms are about the same size- but that Trojan ribbed (which I had to use once) were NOTICEABLY smaller.. painfully smaller, to tell the truth.

always use lube, and you shouldn't have problems with the condoms coming off, just reapply as needed..

Ok the best condoms I found are durex love condoms. The thing I hate most about condoms is the way they smell during sex. That unbearable rubber smell just makes me want to blow chunks. Anyway the durex love condoms don't have that smell and i love them.

There are a few sites online where you can buy condoms by the singles, one is condomsdelivered.com (free shipping!) What i did is bought an order of like 30 condoms all various types and it was a lot cheaper then most ready packed samplers on condom sites...

Get the scented ones (in the red package). Not only does it feel like you're not wearing a condom, but there's none of that nasty latex smell. I can't describe the scent, but it smells kinda like cherry or something similar. These condoms rock!

No, on the mentor condoms, the adhesive is on the inside already, its like a strip. Good design.

We used to use Lifestyles, but then a lot of my friends said they had problems with them breaking a lot. So we shopped around and she wanted to try the Trojan: Her Pleasure ones. I said fuck it and tried them. Eh, it actually felt 10x better to me than any of the Lifestyles ones we tried. I also hear that the Trojans with the warming lube on them are great.. never got a chance to try those, but using the KY warming liquid on the Her Pleasure condoms was just $$$. Me like, me like~

I've had alot of problems with condoms in general, trojans are too tight and don't feel good, i've been using life styles for a while but I've had a few of them break during intercourse, one which resulted in some really shitty happenings, but that's what miscarriages are for. My personal favorite has got to be the Dual sensation condoms, they're pretty rocking

I used to use the lifestlyes regulars but found that they wernt the condom for me. The sensation loss was too much. I now use the Contempo brand - Barebacks and they are the best i've come by. I wanna try Kimono micro thins but I can'y find them here in Down Under. Just experement with all types of condoms and you'll find one for you!
