Question
My girlfriend usually starts her period around the first of the month when she's not on birth control. She usually can tell what day she will be starting when she IS on birth control, and if she was on it, should have been last Wednesday. Well, this last month, it turns out, she wasn't taking it and didn't tell me. I never got off inside her, but she's all worried that she's pregnant. There was another time in which she went off of her BC all together one month, and then she got her period around the first of the month again. What I'm getting at is, logically, should she have had her period last week, or should it be coming up around the first of the month like it usually does when she's not on BC?

Missing her BC can throw off her cycle.
|
what he said. give it a bit more time before you worry.
|
You can change your cycle by stopping and starting BC, or by using the wrong dose during the wrong week. But for peace of mind, you need to get some EPT and prove it for yourself instead of worrying!

I stopped taking my pills for about three months and I didn't get my period for about a month and a half. Her body probably just needs time to readjust. Taking a test will stop the wondering.

I mean, come on? How, in a three week span, could she neglect to bring it up? I don't know her, but my guess is either a) she's a space cadet, or b) wants to get pregnant. And unless you wouldn't mind (b), I would wear a condom from here on out. Every time. |
in any case you need to have a chat with her about not telling you.....
