Are women aware when they are showing tits?
 

I have often wondered if women are aware of how much breast they are flahing in public. My eyes are often drawn like magnet to the lady with a low or loose fitting top who then, I think, inadvertently expose all or part of breast(s)..... Do they know it and like to tease?

Just trying to keep abreast of things.......

I've been blunt about it and asked a few who I know. It's about a 50/50 split.

Most of my friends that show their breasts are doing it on purpose, but trying to make it look inadvertant because that is more sexy to them.

Some like it.....its kind of endearing to as my friend tells me

Personally I show them intentionally because I love the way they look and if you've got it why not flaunt it, right? And of course I show them to tease men as well :p

Women learn quickly what kind of effect breasts have on men so I'd say that about 95% are well aware that they're showing their tits.

They are very aware of wht they are doing.

I suspect that very young ones, as in "just going through puberty", might not be aware yet.

I am in no doubt that women are plainly aware of the power their breasts have over men, so why when they go to such lengths to tease and provoke do they complain when we look

I reckon VERY few women are not aware of what they are showing. They must know, bearing in mind they generally take much more care of their appearance than men. :)

I honestly don't know. I think there's a difference between the blonde cheerleader bending over in a V-neck, and the housewife who doesn't realize that her T-shirt hangs low. But women know what effect their tits have, some just know it more than others. I knew a very ditzy, very cute blond girl in high school, she played the complete airhead and was always showing "just a little too much." We got to be friends (of course) and one day I put the question to her... did she plan to show boob when she got up in the morning, or did it just happen by accident. Her response was something like "everyone is just much friendlier when you show a little leg." I guess that sums it up pretty nicely.

Now that I hitnk some more, some people are completely clueless in general. Just last week I had to explain to my mother (age 52) why it's not appropriate for her to wear pink socks with cherries on them. She had no idea that cheeries were sexually suggestive and just got them because she liked the colors.

Oh they are absolutely aware, a few yearsw back I was at a conference in Palm Springs and I was with a few male colleagues asking the female concierge about places for dinner. Every time she bent over, her very loose fitting top, left her entire braless boobage region exposed -- Two of hte country boys with us, pulled me aside and suggested I talk to her - maybe she didn't realize (their innocence was so cute) I whispered to her - she absolutely knew what she was doing...

Umm....sexually suggestive to whom? LOL I find nothing sexual about them (aside from the whole 'virgin' aspect), but on a 52 yo? Wouldn't even cross my mind. :)

I think that they all know what they are doing. Women are vain, and showing their breasts or cleavage is a game to them to see how many men they can get to stare.

Oh...and yeah...I'd say that most know exactly what they are doing. Occasionaly an "accident" will happen. I can buy that. But, for the most part, I'd say for reasons of exhibition, power or simply flirtation, they know.

They know. My wife has an awesome rack, 36D, on a curvy 4'11" frame...but she only wears low cut tops when I ask her to, going to work she dresses conservatively because she doesn't want to deal with getting hit on every 5 minutes. Of course I'm all for her showing them off all the time, why hide them from the world when they look that good? And if it helps her make a sale at work then hey, bonus. She says that's easy for me to say since I'm not the one getting ogled...

I have a friend who was very shy when I first met her, she was always covered head to toe and wouldn't even wear shorts. The rest of our group gradually brought her out of her shell though, at some point she decided to try out dressing up, makeup, and showing a little skin - nothing trashy, just how a normal good looking 20something girl would dress. The change in her was amazing, people especially guys started to notice her and it gave her a huge confidence boost.

Okay, now an addendum. Since we've established that women know what they're doing, do they know that I'm looking at them all the time? If they're wearing a tight shirt, I'm looking at their tits. If they're sitting down and I'm standing over them, I'm looking down their shirt. Do they know? Do they care? Do they know I'm dying to see some nipple?

Again, yes, they know. :D Why do you think they're doing it? They enjoy being looked at. If I ran into a woman who said otherwise, I'd probably suggest that she either get used to it or change her clothes.

Oh they know it. They relish in the fact that they are torturing us guys.

I think most of the time the answer is yes, they know. However, I am also sure that sometimes they don't know. My wife is a school teacher and would never dress like that at school intentionally. However, the other day at home after school she bent over pet the dog and I could see to her navel. When I commented on this, she was stunned because she had no clue at all and since she teaches elementary kids she is bending over all day.

Most girls that I know do it on purpose. They like the attention, and they tend to say "If you've got it, flaunt it" .. besides, what girl doesn't like a confidence boost?

uhh...i don't do it intentionally..i just hate bras..but i tend to get told that i'm showing boobage alot..i dont think we all do it on purpose..sometimes when i'm going out i wear low cut shirts..but the only part of my body i show off on purpose is my ass..its gets more attention anyway

I typically know what my outfits show when i'm in various positions (of course you have to practice in front of a mirror!) but sometimes when I'm out I forget when i lean over or bend over (not that my chest is so big to draw tons of attention). The only times i get embarressed is when my father tells me to "sit or sit up like a lady!". Oops!

Most of the time my wife is aware, but not always. We had a double-header basball game for my son's little league this summer, it was incredibly hot and uncomfortable, and between games all of the parents were keeping the boys fed, hydrated and in the shade. When it came time to warm up for the next game, my wife was helping by soft tossing for the guys to have a quick batting practice. This is an activity that requres you to either squat or get on your knees... the boys kept on short tossing the balls back to her, requiring her to bend over to retreive them. I quickly realized that the 10 year old little scamps had figured out that they could look down her shirt, and some were standing behind her looking at her T-back when she bent over... She didn't realize it until afterward when I was laughing my ass off. Sometimes it's intentional, sometimes, it's not.

Hey it's a great compliment to your wife, if those little guys were getting their giddy thrills from her!

I would say that a fair majority know when they show off their charms. Men strut, and show off; we are fairly obvious if we feel confident. Women are a tad more subtle as far as I've seen. A bit of leg, a slightly low cut shirt, etc. It's a technique, and it's fairly effective unless the guy is like me, and is going to be clueless until about a month or so after a woman showing herself off. ;)

That said, women who go overboard are a bit tacky, I think.

My wife got implants and allowed the doctor to talk her into getting bigger ones than she "ordered." They really are too big in my opinion, but boy does she get a lot of attention (being a fitness models, helps, too). She is self conscious about the looks she gets, but at the same time, she thrives on it. Most interestingly, she is not particularly fond of showing them to me.

I believe that some are aware and that some aren't. for the ones that are, they do it surely on purpose, I'd say. we could raise a further next question; is it the same with thongs? of course it is... so, why don't we gentlemen just accept this new found trust in feminine exposure and enjoy what we see?

Hey now! We aren't all clueless. Believe it or not, showing boobage isn't high on a lot of women's agendas. It happens because we're too busy to notice what's going on. I know that I have to be mostly covered in public, but that doesn't mean I know exactly how my clothes will fall if I have to bend or reach. So every once in a while a button pops open and the world gets to see my bra. I shrug it off and know I made some guy's day. When I'm being obvious though, it really is obvious.

Same reason girls have their thongs hanging out the back of their pants. I dated a few girls that did this. Also dated one that had huge ta'ta's and would look in the mirror before going out to make sure "enough" was showing.

Seems more on purpose than anything.

It all comes down to one thing... most women, I believe, know they're 'showing', even if they pretend they do not. It's the whole mental thrill of knowing that, what to a woman is two ordinary and sometimes annoying fleshy protrusions can hold such hypnotic power over the male mind.

Women are aware of how much they show, but they dont seem to be aware of who is looking. At my old highschool it seemed that the less clothes you wore, the better dressed you were considered.
