Shaving, pfft.
 
So last night I was bored and I found my wifes hot wax in the bathroom. She and the kids are away so I decided to heat it up and try a little test patch. I trimmed the test area and applied the wax. Fuck it was hot. Not hot enough to burn but I didn't make that mistake twice. So I applied a little patch (about 1" sq) on the upper right side of my sack and let it set up. I gave a little pull and realized I should have been more thorough with the clippers. I manually removed some of the long ones conected out of the test zone. 1, 2, 3,......4 5 6 7 8 9 10 RIP. AGHHHHH. Nastyness. I figured that the sack was probably the most senitive area so I hit the ones on the shaft. 1,2,3 .......456788910 RIP. AGHHHHH. Well now I had a couple smoothe patches that looked out of place so I had to even it up. Then i said to my self, "just a little more tonight then I'll let myself recover and finish the job tommorow night. I got the job 75% done last night and am now pondering the remainder. It is mostly down below and unseen (by me) but I should probably finish the job. So now I havea lovely bald scrotum and penis and an amazing insight into a brazilian wax. I can not imagine having someone else ripping the hair continuously for the lengh of time necessary. I did mine really little bits at a time and it was plenty painful.

Congratulations on your escape from the tyranny of the razor. Just don't let the Nair people get to you. That stuff is useless.

I'd rather be a willing subject of the razor than the cannon fodder of the Brazilian Wax empire. Ouch.

I've done the wax thing... Ouch, double ouch - and I was a bit tanked at the time.
I just use the electric razor now. About every second morning as part of my normal routine.
My SO tried waxing once after I talked her into it - I still don't hear the end of that one. Now she does hers with the razor about once a week and I am trying to convince her to do it more often...

Good on you for being brave enough to give it a try though...

its been a good while since ive done any hair management down there...

i used to trim up top and pluck the balls... lotsa lil ouches... if i kept up with it when the hairs started coming in really thin they werent painful at all to pull...

don't try nare or other stuff on the balls, it burns. An yes I'm speaking from personal experience.

Nair doesn't work so hot on the head either. It tends to result in a nasty irritation.

i never thought to try wax on the sack before. I tried some liquid wax on the chest before, and the results were pretty good. The only problem i found was in-grown hairs were i had used the strips.

Almost three weeks and I did a little maintenance wax. Not near as much pain this time. Took 15 minutes and I was silky smooth again.

no offense dude but ur crazy...i would never pluck my balls

what waxing thing r u using...i have been thinking about trying it...i shave weekly or so...its a pain sometimes to find the time lol

I was useing an "Andrea warm wax kit" It comes in a little pan you put on the oven at low heat then use the popsicle stick like things to spread the wax on your body. Then you pry up a corner and rip it off.

I tried it once, but the wife didn't like it. She said it was strange. Okay, less pain for me! You like hairy balls, you get hairy balls. :p

I'm no prude, but I'm still surprised at how many men actually like to remove the hair from their balls. It's kind of neat really.

As for waxing, OUCH. For a while, I used to "sugar" my legs. Instead of wax, it's a sticky substance that you spread on and pull off with strips in the same manner. However, I don't think I'd ever wax my bikini area.. it's just too damn sensitive. I shave.

I think shaving is FAR worse. You have to do it more often, and you get itchy stubble. That is not a problem if you just yank the hair out. I have used an electric tweezer device I got at Sharper Image. It hurts a little, but not that bad. In fact, removing the hair from my low back hurts much more.
