I don't think I could. Not to knock anyone who does, just not my style. I'd rather know the person or be involved with them. I can see the allure of having sex with a complete stranger and I probably would, but paying for it just makes the whole thing seem too business-like.

this is true. it's that "one form or another" that we all need to be careful of. are we paying for it in the form of time and affection or is everything (sex included) an issue of how deep our pockets are? if you're paying for sex at the bunny ranch, fine, to each his own. if you're paying for sex because your significant other will love you more if you buy her jewelry and take her out for dinner every other night, then you've got yourself a bit of a problem.

to answer your question, no i have not directly payed for sex. there have been cases where i've spent countless days with my girlfriend (sacrificing nights out with "the boys" and whatnot) and there have been cases where i've payed for dinners, movies and big carnival stuffed animals; i've always been more than willing to pay these expenses.

i don't know that i got my message across. i don't consider it the ultimate sacrifice, but there have been times where i've turned down a poker night or two to be with my baby. its really an issue of one's definition of "sacrifice." to me it's simply turning one thing down to do another. i want to be with my boys, but obviously i want to be with my girlfriend much, much more. sometimes she'll come to play poker with us, but thats another story for another time...
