Man Boobs - Ladies what do you think?

So I've got man boobs. Thy're usually not that bad if I'm taking care of myself and not smoking. I would say when I'm in good shape they make my chest look bigger but when I'm not they could easily fill an A cup, maybe even a B. I would imagine that most ladies would not find this attractive but I hope that I'm just assuming. So without further adieu ladies what do you think?

la petite moi 09-30-2004 03:32 PM

Well, I'm assuming you want the truth, so I'll give it to you from my perspective. I do not like man boobs. I don't like muscles that look like man boobs, or fat men with saggy man boobs.

But that's just me.

09-30-2004 03:59 PM

I'm all for the 'chubby' guy. Thats actually the body type I'd prefer to cuddle with, etc. And yet somehow I'm dating a stick....

maleficent 09-30-2004 05:39 PM

I'm with Untitled, I like bigger guys, I don't like rock hard muscles, chubby guys are more cuddly... Nothing wrong with moobs... :)

fallenangel 09-30-2004 05:42 PM

I agree with the ladies above me, I would prefer a bigger guy than a smaller guy, purely a personal reason. However, if he's got bigger breasts than myself then he'd have to be a pretty outstanding guy :)

*after careful thought* --> I wonder if it would be a turn on? I mean, because there's a feminine reference with the breasts, and I dig breasts, hmm, maybe it would be cool? :D

Squishor 09-30-2004 05:53 PM

Personally, I like the stick guys, can't deal with bigger guys at all, man boobs or not. Someone for everyone, right?

Draconis 09-30-2004 06:05 PM

I'm a tad bit confused as to where I would fall in.
6'
165 lb.
I've got pecs (not huge ones) but not a six-pack.
A tiny amount of handles left over from pledging last year.

Just thought I'd like to know where I stand in this comparison.

Suave 09-30-2004 09:32 PM

Yeah, to add to this, how do you ladies feel about love handles? I hope you love 'em. ;)

blahblah454 09-30-2004 11:09 PM

Hey draconis I'm about that same build but just -5 pounds... and people are constantly telling me how skinny I am, and I never thought I was skinny, and I still don't. I kind of think of myself as normal size and just want to smash people in the face who call me skinny, it gets on my nerves.

bing bing 10-01-2004 02:19 AM

I've got pretty big man boobs but they're all muscle. It looks a little odd because they bounce when i walk as do ladies boobs. Not much i can do about it though considering they're genetic. some ladies dig it, others do not.

Nancy 10-01-2004 02:44 AM

I've always prefered a firm body so I don't mind if a guy got "boobs" as long as they're not bigger than an A cup

Some of us female types aren't all about looks, we may have a certain body type that we like -- but we like the person who's attached to the body more. It honestly doesn't matter much what you look like, long as you treat us well, and we like you.

You betcha -- cause we love what's attached to those love handles :)

Gotta have the smile though...

It's really nice to see/hear this, because the trend lately in America seems to be so swayed towards physicality being the most important aspect of a person. It's thrown at us so many times a day, it can become aggravating and eventually lead one to think it might be true, but it's nice to see it isn't, and that more important qualities do in fact matter. :)

herostar 10-01-2004 09:24 AM

You two guys are deffinately skinny, not the man-boob type. I'm 6'1 and weight 194... I'm not close to man boobs, b/c it's mostly muscle, but still, you both would have to gain like 20 lbs to get the man boobs, don't worry about it.

faciallover 10-01-2004 09:38 AM

men have certain parts that are arousing, and woman do too...Man boobs are not a turn on....my boobs turn me on, my other woman's boobs....but man's boobs...no way...

Sugar&Spice 10-04-2004 06:38 PM

I think it would depend on how big they were. I'm a B cup so I definitely would not like my boyfriends breasts to be larger than mine.

But if they're roughly the same size he can share your bras.

Redgirl 10-05-2004 12:51 PM

If I were looking at a "model" I probably wouldn't want to see man boobs. But for some reason I don't mind them on my own guy. Same with a guy having a six pack. Nice to look at, but definitely not a deal breaker if my guy doesn't have it. I like a guy with some meat on his bones, so man boobs and love handles are a-okay with me. :D

the_marq 10-05-2004 01:53 PM

Wow, I must say I am amazed to hear from the women in this thread who are not all "Ewww, ick guys shouldn't be fat...you have to look like Brad Pitt in fight club before I'll even talk to you."

As a 'chubby' guy I find this very gratifying. Too bad I'm attached or I'd be PM'ing all of you (no fat chix)

****I'm joking just in case you didn't get that. Seriously, it's good to know the ladies of TFP are so realisitic.

Dude, lately i've noticed the same thing. It seems that girls/women don't really care about body that much after a certain age and they care about personality alot more. But a cute face + a cute body definitely add bonus points :)

*Nikki* 10-06-2004 05:52 AM

Seriously as long as they aren't bigger then my own, and I am small, then I have no problem with them.

Missy 10-06-2004 02:57 PM

Yeah, I'm going to have to pass on these....

This question is sort of crazy because as a previous poster supposed...there is someone for everyone right?

However...there is a certain reality when it comes to the "love handle" question and I'm sorry boys but there is no double standard here. Get off your arses and exercise, stop drinking so much beer, give up the double cheeseburgers and the HOT WINGS at HOOTERS. Women generally speaking might be more tolerant of a few extra pounds than men but they all respond with a fairly positive reaction to guys who take care of themselves. You may not need to look like a Calvin Klein underware model but George Castanza aint having a path beaten down to his door. Face it....does the guy below have love handles???? Hmmmm.... I don't see them but he does have a good looking woman willing to face plant his rear

Eat less, exercise more. Again you don't have to look like that dude above but if you flab out too far in the other direction and it's just not attractive.

P.S. -- There is a Health & Fitness forum ;)

Yeah, I'll pass on man boobs as well. The guy who sits next to me at work has them (he's a little on the large size - amazing person, tho) and I get quite distracted when I talk to him...keep remembering that Seinfeld ep where Kramer invented the "bro".

Have you heard anyone say "you have to look like Meat Loaf in fight club before I'll even talk to you"?

I'm from NYC and I know where that ad is.. and frankly I think it's a stupid ad. Using one to prove your point also isn't a good example since they're airbrushed and edited in any number of ways. Those models might look great but have likely had wrinkles, blemishes, skin tone or any number of "skin imperfections" altered to fit CK's idea of perfection. I'm personally in decent shape, don't have man-boobs and would hate if I did.. but I wouldn't illustrate that point with an excessively large, in your face, tasteless street ad.

usrbinboy 10-08-2004 09:15 PM

my man boobs generate warmth for the ladies to soak up

jenjen 10-08-2004 10:16 PM

Sorry but going to have to give a thumbs down on the man boobs. Not a big fan of really big beer bellies either - a little is fine

tom12 10-09-2004 08:28 PM

i'm very proud to be a man without boobs

EmilyMu154 10-12-2004 08:40 PM

i like big cuddly men
either big with extra meat
or big with strong muscles

man boobs or super big pecs just as long as your chest is comfortable to rest my head on when we are in bed :)

bigimuspermus 10-13-2004 07:05 AM

Agreeing with others - I really appreciate this 'open view' from females. I personally have been plagued with man boobs since the age of 5. Keeping them still to this day. I was a little chunky thru school then trimmed up more as I grew up. But now I am 6'4" and 230 lbs. I consider myself a decent 'A cup', but my teeth gritting is because mine point out, so they seem more obvious. I suppose previous women of my life didn't mind it, but still to this day, I am very self-conscious of them.

Pledging? what is that? oath of allegiance? United Way walk-a-thon? why would it give you love handles?
