Friday I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend and we went for probably a total time of 10 minutes throughout the entire day just off and on. I pulled out and never really got close to ejaculating in that time frame. We did this again yesterday and then once more today, though not for particularly long times. No time did I near ejaculation.

I believe yesterday she started ovulating, or her body was prepraing to.

What are the chances that she could end up pregnant?

I'd also like to point out that I masturbate regularly, and I suspect my sperm count is fairly low on that thought alone.

Your gf can get pregnant if you don't use protection. Period. Don't be foolish.

Why are you doing it without birth control? How hard is it to get a rubber?

It was her first time and she didn't want to use one. We both regret the decision simply for the stress, and now I've got a box of condoms in my car and wallet, so I'm not worried about having one in the future. It was just a bad decision at the time that I won't be repeating.

There is a name for men who have unprotected sex ESPECIALLY with a woman that is ovulating. They are called DADDY.

I suggest that you read up on "How Babies Are Made". Practice a little self control and use a condom. I also suspect that your partner needs a little birth control information and the fortitude to make her partners wrap it up or as you say "masturbate regularly". Unless you are wanting to bring another life into this world, change your thinking about unprotected sex.

The main question isn't whether she can, it's the chances of.

Condoms are good, dont be silly to believe pulling out will work, you do Pre-ejaculate more than you know. masturbation does not lower your sperm count, there are still millions and it only takes one.

May i suggest the day after pill? and do your research hun, otherwise the games will end soon if you maintain the ,"oh, it couldnt happen to us" mentality. its just plain dangerous. Ignorance is not bliss....

Get the Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP/Morning after pill) if it's less than 72hours since you first did it.

If it's been longer than that, I don't know what you can do except start praying to whatever god you believe in :)

Good grief people. She is not pregnant. I was just looking on a pregnancy forum, and there are married couples who have used no method of birth control other than pulling out right before the guy ejaculates who didn't have a child until they wanted to (so, no pregnancy for 5-6 years of pulling out).

Now, I am by no means advocating this as a birth control method, however if I were in your situation I would not run out and buy a morning after pill.

The reason for this is that heat can cause the latex in them to break down and, er, break.

Your wallet isn't the greatest place for them either, for the same reason (unless you carry it in a man-purse...but you're getting laid, so I'm guessing not...:lol:), better to have them in a nightstand or medicine cabinet or under a bed or something, or stick one in your wallet/pocket if you think you'll need it that night.

Fact is, it's hard as hell to put a probability when there are so many people out there who struggle to have children for months or years... while some have multiple kids in a row without even trying.

The probability also depends on a LOT more things than YOU, bud. You gave us a lot of information about you, but she's the key. Every woman is different, especially in the way they accept or reject sperm... I could get into the science but you can find it in a ton of places if you really care to look.

The point is, if she doesn't get pregnant, consider yourself fortunate or anointed or blessed, and GET BIRTH CONTROL. If she's not pregnant, you got lucky this time in more ways than one - don't take the risk again.

Mighty wrong. There's never any reason why you SHOULDN'T use the ECP after having intercourse with no birth control involved, even if you don't ejaculate.

Look at it this way: You can worry about it and come on here and post about the chances and whatnot... or she can go to Planned Parenthood and get the ECP for a minimal fee and put your mind at ease.

Here's what yopur looking for: Sperm comes out before and after ejaculation. It can start to come out after less than 15 seconds of an erection. They may not come out in the great numbers they do when you ejaculate, but they are absolutely there. All it takes is one.

That seems to be reason enough to take action (pills, dude. get the pills).

Hate to step on any lecturer's toes here, but I don't think GatoradeFrost was asking so that he could be chided about unprotected sex. Shizukana's points are well-made. A lot depends on the general fertility of the people involved. So, the short answer is yes, there's a chance she can get pregnant but quantifying that chance is difficult (impossible?).

Besides, "chances" aren't going to settle your mind, are they? If we said there's a 80% chance she's not pregnant, would you rest easy? Maybe. Maybe not.

dude...if you think you have a low sperm count from alot of masturbating...you need to wake up..... and yes having unprotected sex from not using a condom, will increase the chance of her getting pregnant......you are playing russian roulette man

yeah, i don't know why people keep on bagging on posters about using protection when it's obvious they are aware of their folly and have taken steps to improve their situation. it just seems like people sometimes go out of there way to drive it into the ground.

apparently 27% of couples who use this method over a year's time will have a pregnancy. among couples who implement this perfectly (no mistakes or lack of judgement) the number drops to 4%.

incidentally, those numbers drop to 15% and 2% respectively for using a condom as the primary means of birth control.

so... it appears that using the withdrawal method is a legitimate method of birth control, but far from perfect. a condom will reduce your odds, but it won't eliminate them. i highly reccomend not have vaginal sex at all until you're married and want to have kids. the possibility of a pregnancy is unavoidable... be sure you are willing to accept the consequences of what you do. there is plenty of other stuff that can keep you occupied until then. :)

Pulling out will eventually get you into trouble. My wife and I had sex for about 8 years without her getting pregnant. Actually, for the first couple days after each period I wouldn't even pull out. Eventually, she did end up pregnant, but it was after 8 years. I still wouldn't recommend it all the time...

What do you call people who practice the rhythm method?

When I was young and stupid I trusted the pull-out method for about 12 mths. My girlfriend never got pregnant. I originally thought maybe this indicated we were not as fertile as other couples, but 10 yrs later when I ended up being married to the same girl, we decided to start a family.
She went off the pill (yes, I got smarter) and fell pregnant almost immediately. This indicates how easily we could become pregnant, yet the pull-out method worked for us for 12 mths.

So although I certainly do NOT recommend that method, there is a good chance this guy's girl is not pregnant yet.
Don't stress the poor bloke too much until he knows either way ;)

I would get your girl on hormonal birth control ASAP. Their protection rates are even higher than condoms, especially if you do it properly and don't miss any doses. Plus, then you don't have to be having sex with a balloon.

If she's worried about remembering a pill she can try the patch (ortho-evra) or the shot (depo-provera). The patch is like nicoderm but you change it once a week, and the shot it one prick followed by THREE MONTHS of completely safe sex

Although of course they won't protect you from STDS, but you already seem to have skipped that part ;)

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say the chances she's pregenent from having sex one day, w/out the guy cumming in her are next to zero. Of course they need real protection. I'd recomend the pill personally, just because condoms suck, because they break and take away a degree of intimentcy (which, of course, i cant spell). Regardless, however, some form of birth control needs to be used in the future. I would say it is paranoid to assume that they need to run out and get a morning after pill for it, however.

Seriously, precum has live sperm in it. It only takes one little swimmer, my friend. I'd go get her a morning-after-pill prescription.

Sometimes pre-cum contains enough of the little soilders to invade the egg...use protection if you aren't ready for a little one!

My fiance was on the pill for the longest time...and then she stopped taking it for who knows why, and we were just so used to doing it unprotected that it happened once...without protection...and boom, she's pregnant. It only takes once.
