Long Hair on guys
 

I'm 18, I am a guy and have hair down to my shoulders. I know lots of insecure people have spent time asking the quesiton of whether girls like long hair (as if 'girls' all have one opinion). I know that some girls like it and some dont and I like the way it looks so I'm keeping it.

My problem is this. Last night, I'm making out with this girl (for pretty much the first time) and I'm on top and my hair is SOOOO in the way. I can barely see her face. We kept having to stop and she would jokingly pull hair from her mouth. Whenever I went for her ears I would get a mouthful of my own hair. It didnt stop us from enjoying ourselves but it was definatly annoying.

Anyone with long hair have a solution to this?

Girls how do you normally deal with it if you were on top?

Until about three years ago I had hair down to my waist. Yes, girls like it. Or at least, my girl did.

Dude. Ponytail. Simple.

Actually, on girls with long hair, I like it down and messy. Let it get in your mouth, you can always move it.

For some reason I never much liked it when it was MY hair.

My guy has the longest prettiest naturally curly hair I've ever seen on a guy, its halfway down his back, I too have long hair, but not as long as his. There are times I like all the hair everywhere, times I dont...when I dont he wears it pulled back in a ponytail. He likes mine down no matter what but if its annoying me, I just use what I call my everhandy blowjob clip (I always keep one beside the bed) and get it out of the way

I like it messy... its even more fun when you're both wet.

The only thing I can suggest is hair ties, when I had long hair that just about took care of all of my hair issues.

Simple solution: tie it up.

Use a hair elastic. Hard, eh?

My hair is a little longer than shoulder length. I usually just keep it combed and pulled back behind my ears. I can't stand it when it touches my ears.

Yeah, just put it in a ponytail. And long hair is yummy, most definitely.

I have long hair as well and i find that a ponytail makes this not a problem.

Yeah, the ponytail has served me well in these situations.

But as several others have stated, sometimes it's kind of fun to have it getting in the way.

Just started the ponytail myself. Was going to only tie it up for work, but I like it so well that I may use it all the time. My wife likes it a lot. And since my hair is unruly even when it's medium-short, the pony-tail is actually the best way to keep it under control short of using gel or hairspray, which I don't want to bother with. And everybody says they like the look, too.

i think guys look good with long hair if it's styled and maintained. I'm not too fond of the "i'm just too lazy" look.

I always tie my hair up. It just gets in the way much too often

1) Don't cut your hair! Guys with long hair are yum. If it's all over, I'm not that crazy about mullets ;)

2) Ponytail.

Hmm, I seem to be the odd woman out here, I'm not a big fan of long hair on guys- seriously, every man I've known with long hair became insta-sexy when they cut it short.

I think it's something about necks, or ears......or perhaps it's just my personal taste.

One more for the ponytail. If it gets long enough, braid it, but that's really long. Mine is about midback when it's down, and it's not long enough for a credible braid (unless I'm getting all gussied up, like black tie).

If I am planning on going "downtown" for an extended period of time, when I loop the hairtie the last time, I catch the end of my ponytail in it and cut it's length in half. I never have problems with it being in my way when I do that.

I have hair down to my shoulders (ala Johnny Tsunami), and for the past year my girlfriend has had no problem moving around my hair. Only once or twice I have tied it up, more or less because I don't like the way I look with my hair tied up. (Being Asian I guess I have more feminine features?). So despite the annoyance, I live with it....

Although I think this weekend I'll try tying it up when I'm with the g/f :)

i used to have hair to my chin, but it wasn't long enough to put up, and i had no girlfriend so it was never a problem.

i used to have hair down to my butt, most women loved it, some hated it, i felt like i was more relaxed with the longer hair. I've since cut it and come into societal standards with my hair, but i miss the longer stuff.

Anyway, ponytail, period. plain and simple, takes 30 seconds, and you can even double it up on the last twist so it's not as long. If that doesn't work, then get 2 chopsticks and wrap it up on top, japanese style.

I had long hair for like 5 years and always had a hard time getting laid. One day I cut it all off and my sex life changed like night to day. It was awesome. Ill never grow my hair out again

Mine is shoulder blade length, and I've yet to hear a complaint from females. I have learned to keep it in a scrunchie when heading down below so the only hair I'm tasting is hers. :D

Long hair on some guys looks good especially if it's well kept. If it's not kept well then you can look....well....like Ted Kazinsky(sp) who is commonly known as the unabomber. What a fool that guy is. I mean he's got a full head of hair and look what he did with it!! :D (No I don't think the unabomber is funny so don't post my quote back asking that).

If I had a full head of hair ala Teddy bear Kazinsky I'd consider growing it out long if I could pull off that look. Ask an independant opinion if you think you've got it. If not then cut it short like the rest of us and be happy you don't have to deal with curling irons, color treatments, and hair sprays. :lol:

Use a shit-load of hair gel and spike it up Rancid-style. Or put it in a Glenn Plake mohawk. That would be fuckin' awesome.

I saw a mohawk the other day that had to be at least 18" long... it was AWESOME!

I love long hair on men. Always have, always will.

My boyfriend used to have long hair. Dreadlocks, actually. I ate a few dreadlocks every time we made out.

He cut them eventually, pretty shortly into our relationship before I could complain too much. But long hair should be pulled into a ponytail or tucked into a hood or something :) .. it just makes it that much easier.

Tie it up. :) I do quite a bit when in similar situations...

I used to have long hair, and it is an age appropriate thing .the guy above is young and it fits him, but once your above thirty it gets harder to pull it off. Some women love the long hair and for others it is an immediate deal breaker. I knew it was time to cut my hair when I would only wear it in a ponytail, whats the point? But for the love of god, balding men with ponytails...don't do it.

This is how I feel, too. If I ever find myself only wearing it in a tail wherever I am, I would just cut it short again.
