Cyberskin
All I can say is, I bought one, and it is worth every penny. Anyone have any comments?
|
On cyberskin, that is. Not on my having bought one.
|
The care instructions for cyberskin toys seemed way too fussy. Restoration liquid and talc powder before and after each use? Feh.
I just bought my wife a silicone dildo, we haven't tried it yet, but the feel is supposed to be great, and it just requires soap and water. |
Okay, but you know what RULES?? Glass.
Once you've gone Pyrex, man, you never go back. This is perilously close to threadjacking, so I'll throw in an ob-cyberskin. I read about it. Was curious about it. Not curious enough to buy one. |
how much did it run?
Apparently you liked it, what did you like about it over a "normal" toy? |
what is it?
|
i felt a sample cyberskin toy at Good Vibes and it was just too creepy and too costly to justify buying one for myself. i don't really use toys all that often anyway.

Isnt a glass dildo a bit risky? What if it breaks?
|
those things are pretty sturdy i heard
and they do look damn interesting espically since you can heat and cool them like omega said. as for the cyberskin, yea pricey |
well shit.. no information at all.. gee thanks for this oh-so-informative post

Sorry, Hal. I was actually getting around to the long story. Here it is. Cheating on my wife is not an option, and I can't see myself spending the kind of money it takes here in Houston to go to a massage parlor, etc. There are a lot of times when I get horny (as we all do) and I was curious to see if there was another option.
I get a catalog called The Xandria Collection, Lawrence Research Group, and it listed a Cyberskin artificial vagina for $50. I decided to try it and ordered one. Can modern plastics duplicate the feel of the real thing? Turns out they can up to a point. Definitely superior to the hand. It's a pretty intense experience at times. Does require some maintenance but that's no big deal. So I can give five stars to the Cyberskin artificial vagina when compared to the five fingers. |
thank you for finally explaining what a the point of the thread was... everyone else seemed to know but I had no idea.
I'm sure toys are fun but I'd still rather have the real thing, or use them with someone else. |
Absolutely, the real thing is always better. Given the choice of an unenthusiastic, tired partner, and random opportunity, there are things to be said for having a variety of options. And, I've always been bugged by the fact that women seem to have so many great toy options, compared to guys. So, it's cool to try to level the playing field.

I'm sure if you dropped it on a stone floor or something it would chip or break, but I mean, it's not like you would use it again after that. |
Hmm, interesting. My fella is into toys as much as I am, but we mostly use mine on him, or whathaveyou, I'd love to get something for him that would be his and his alone.
I'll have to check it out.... |

It's true that if it ever gets cracked or chipped, it's no longer a dildo. It becomes a paperweight at that point, or a frustratingly rolly doorstop. On the upside, they're dishwasher safe. How many other things have been in there that you can say are dishwasher safe? Cyberskin isn't just for men's toys. It's to be found on dildos of many varieties. See HERE for some examples from my buddies at Blowfish. |
