TOO MUCH TONGUE?
 

How much tongue do you like when kissing/making out?
I enjoy the combo- tongues slightly brushing and then lips come together and then repeat that....I don't like all tongue, it's way too much and not that sensual to me as much as the touch of lips.
How about you? Is there "too much" tongue?

I will use about the amount where it would touch my bottom lip. Anymore and I feel it straining me and that is no fun!

tounge is good... i dont think that there is too much, unless your girlfriend/boyfriend has a tounge like a cow...

i enjoy using my tounge, but its all a matter of what feels right

I don't like a lot of tongue. My exboyfriend used to slobber all over me. I would tell him to take it down a notch but he never learned.

God if your gonna use alot of tongue dont waist in in my mouth.... there is one spot that can never get enough... hehheeheh

Too little tongue is just as bad as too much imho. One guy I went out with would just put his tongue a teeny bit into my mouth. Not only did I miss all the fun that comes with more tongue action but it made me feel like I was kissing a snake or lizard.

as deep as a little past my teeth, and its all about the soft touch.

Light and soft lips, and (usually) soft and slowly exploratory with the tongue.

The exception is in the 'heat of the moment' in which force, if used properly, can enhance everything.

It's better than too much teeth.

I made out with this one chick once who kissed with her teeth more than her lips. Now I like a good lip bite, but this was like making out with some sand paper after a while.

I don't see it as a matter of too much or too little, but as a matter of balance. There's a time to tease, and a time to please and a time to tickle the tonsils. I had one girlfriend who was shy about tounge kissing (and absolutely nothing else); one girlfriend who was very, very good at it, everything from just inside the lips to the bbeginning of the soft palate to sucking my tongue; and one girlfriend who, every time she kissed me she stuck her tongue as far back as she could and held it as stiff as she could. I imagine it felt something like fellating a midget - interesting, but not the best thing for every day.

All about balance.

Tongue is good, as long as you vary up the motions, and dont try to swallow his/her face. Thats a bad thing. Basically what Tophat said, he nailed it on the head--vary it up.

Slow and steady wins the race, but that's not important-

what IS important is how you work that thing, and make sure you slide it all the way in at least once or twice, so she/he knows you know how to work that thing. Kiss someone well, and you'll melt them. There are so many lovely sexual actions that revolve around good tongue control. Show them you can give them something they won't soon forget.

Lots of tongue for lots of passion and sexuality. But of course, I use very little tongue when I'm in the grace of of bad company...

hmm... i usually dont like all tongue as well.. i like where you are making out.. but with your lips.. kind of sucking on the persons lips you know? otherwise... sometimes all the tongue action can become too much..i also enjoy little pecks and stuff like that :) but deffintely where your lips are basically massaging the other persons... very sensual!

It all depends on the person I am with. Too little tongue is definitely a turn off. Lots of tongue can be very hot for a little while but then your tongue gets bruised :)

I prefer a change up using different techniques as people have described above.

balance balance.. the most important thing is to be aware of your partner and to sense where the kiss should progress to. It's certainly an artform, and often imperfect... but what fun to practice.

well if were just getting into it we like to use alittle tounge but once the heat really gets turned on seems like the kissing gets sloppier which is fine by me!

There's no One Right Way to kiss. You've got to be attentive and awake. Do what feels good, don't try to impress anybody... And you'll be a good kisser.

I dont think theres such a thing as to much tongue per se.. but more just bad kissing/kissers. As long as its done right it should be fine, but a lot of people go to far. Then again, I suppose some people have turn-offs for that kinda stuff too, so its possible that a great kisser could turn someone off with to much tongue.
