Ok so I came across some erotic stories when looking for porn, so i decided to have a little bit of a read. It only took like a couple of minutes to be really turned on by what i was reading, so much that I just had to beat off, and I ended up having one of the best orgasms I've ever had. Usually I just watch porn while im masturbating if my lady is not around, and havent been able to have a real good orgasm without porn or my lady. Is it normal to be this turned on by words?

I sure hope it is, because i sure am.

Reading is a lot more descriptive than watching a movie - take any novel that has been turned into a movie for example. Now you got your brain reading the descriptions, imagining the ideas, and 'watching' the actions. And as dragon said:

yep, i think i've posted something about this before and defintley get turned on.

as djp was pointing out, people always say the book is better than the movie, as you get to imagin in your mind what everything is like and ideal for yourself. Whereas when given a movie or soemthing, you can't imagine much past, what they're actually showing you, so it's not as mentally fufilling.

Also, another thing which is good for me, is that text is so much smaller to download than other visual porn! being on a 56K, i seldom download any visual porn as it kills my bandwidth, but text is so much smaller and just as good.

I love porn stories. Nothing like envisioning the acts in the story with your own overactive imagination. Sometimes it is like a little porno flick in your head.

The stories do have to be well written and believable for me to get into them. There is nothing worse than having the story build and build to something that seems like it is going to be awesome and then one of the characters ruins it says or does something that really does not fit into the context of the story.

One draw back of erotic stories is that every once and a while you'll have been reading for about 15 minutes before you realize that the main character isn't the gender you origonally thought.

I think stories seem better than pictures/movies because our minds fill in the missing information with what is perfect and when looking at pictures/movies all the flaws are being shown.

Stories are great because they make you use your imagination more, and the mind can be a very powerful tool. While I'm thinking about it, I should add this thread to my favorites. ;)
