See but that's why there is such a large misunderstanding, there IS NO SET or "standard" for looks, not at all. I HATE tans. HATE them. I like pale girls, and hair length matters not. I know lots of guys who can't stand long hair or tans, either.

It's important to see them for who they are, not what, because when you get old, what will you think as you look upon your lover? "Damn, they were hot in their day," or "No matter what happened, I've always been the happiest person because of them"? Think about it.

Women are more forgiving with regards to looks than guys are, because they generally want more qualities overall. They have to give in somewhere. Guys want someone who is hot and nice.
