if you have a toy or sexuall aid, did you purchase in person or did you get it online? I am also wondering why you chose to purchase this way?

online when i was single and didn't feel like going to a sexshop by myself buying a toy... in store when i was with my bf and we picked something out together. :) |
In store, because it is easier to make comparisons in size, texture, etc.

I went in store. It was my first time in the store, and I was very nervous, but the employees made me feel very comfortable. I actually started up a convo with the lady and she visually showed me how to use the fleshlight with a dildo on their floor model. I obviously knew how to do it, but I just wanted to see her do that. ;)

I bought mine in the store with Secret. Personally, I liked buying it in the store because it was a lot easier to make a judgement based on size and feel. Plus, the place I went was super nice and was helpful with any questions I had.

yeah, the option never have wasnt available either. Im too emberassed to purchase or own a toy. I dont know..I prefer the real thing ;)

I've bought both places, but definitely prefer to shop in the store. It's difficult to get a realistic view of a product from a pic online. I also like the fact that you have other people to make recommendations and offer expert input in person. ;)

i'm a very hands-on type of person... beyond simple, unchangeable things like media (books, cd's, dvd's), i wanna see something, hold it, consider it, and base my purchase on that info.

While physicaly shopping for something is great and we'll do it occasionaly, the selection you get by shopping online is a very large factor.

I dont feel comfortable leaving financial details on the net. I dont get embaressed so I have no problem going into a store. I even have a friend who wants me to buy her toys for her.

I prefer going in person for purchases, but we've recently purchased some sports sheets online, so I voted both.

My wife would never go into a store, and for her to look, it was online only. Of course I have gone into those stores, but never have made a purchase there.

We've purchased ours both instore and online, but have moved to online only over the last few years. I just can't get the wife to accompany me to the adult bookstore anymore.

In store only but that is because we only have a couple (and rarely use them). My wife doesn't like using a vibrator as she doesn't want to become dependent on it. She usually gets off via the jets in our jacuzzi tub, and she pretty much gets off every time when we have sex.

Usually, you end up in an actual store because you're in the mood to use the toy, not wait a week for delivery.
That being said, my next purchase probably would be online anyway, for a more anonymous purchase. |

If we're looking for something together, we'll go to a store. If i'm buying a gift or something for her, I'll just order online.

It depends on the situation. Looking through the aisles of a sex shop can be very stimulating, but if you go alone, it can be embarrassing or scarry.
I prefer online, it's easier and annonymous |

My ex was never big on the idea, so I've done neither, though if I had a girlfriend who was more open minded, I wouldnt have any problem going in person and would probably prefer so.
