Sometimes yes if the mood is right. However it is often more distracting. I prefer stuff like Kenny G, Enigma, etc. and usually used it on one-night stands. With my wife, we just usually like to get hot and heavy into each other without noise.

Music is too distracting for me. I was trained as musician for 13 years growing up and I'm just too damned musical. Any music that plays anywhere I am, I can't help but have part of my brain focus on it. So, I find it distracting.

Two CDs in our collection are considered acceptable for getting it on.

Channel 407 on the cable tv music stations. I believe its official title is "Classic R&B", you know, like Marvin, Smokey, and other Motown and non-Motown greats.
I do sometimes however, prefer nothing but the sound of us. But it can get sort of loud and I live with my sister so to avoid embarrassing her and myself, I keep it with good ole 407.

On a side note. When I come back from downstairs or wherever, and channel 407 is on, I know the woman is ready for some sweet sexin. Its always a nice surprise.

I've always listened to music while having sex when I can. It seems to help some ladies relax and vocalize more. The rhythm changes can be a nice reminder. And it somehow helps me focus when I'm working at pleasing a lady, doing three or four things at once.
I like classic rock and my wife likes country, so we usually listen to one of those.

The Braveheart soundtrack is the best to play during sex. It is a heaps long CD so you dont have to keep stopping to replay it. The music isnt in your face which allows you to relax and enjoy yourself. The music has heaps strong emotions which intensifies the emotional feelings both of you experience. Thats what I think anyway

When I listen to music, I like to really listen to it...I can't just have music on as a background thing, it's a full experience.
Some people like having the TV on as a kind of white noise, but I find it impossible to concentrate on anything else if there's a TV playing.
So music during sex would be too much of a distraction.
I'm always reminded of a warning from a girl I knew in college: never do it to "The End" by The Doors.

Yeah sometimes we do. We played music a lot more often when we were worried about the "noise level" but now we just don't care. It's life.

I've found that it can enhance the moment with just the most minimal application. As a result, I've got music set-up in a variety of places.....

I've got the "Shag Music" going in the bedroom (Barry White, Dire Straits, Norah Jones, Lorena McKennitt and many others...a 60-disc changer is a Godsend), and I have a different set of "Shagging" tunes saved on my X-Box...because sometimes we just don't get to the bedroom!

No music is also fine, but I will admit that things just seem better with the right sounds in the background...

Not usually but sometimes music is playing. If it's something I really like it just distracts me though so we have to be careful of that.
