Where do you buy your condoms?
 

I was just over in sex advice, and someone asked where to buy condoms, and someone replied that the person should not get them over the internet, because they're more expensive. I find this to be quite false, and i just wanted to share with everyone the internet site i buy mine it. They're way cheaper, shipping is free, and you get 12 generic brand ones free with every purchase (the generic ones have been fine for me as well). www.ripnroll.com is the site, and i think it's great. I also started a poll to see if others buy theirs on the internet. (PS i didn't know if this fit better here or in sex advice..... so if ya'll mods think it's better elsewhere, feel free to move it!!)

I've bought online from drugstore.com and also another strictly condom site I can't remember right now...but they sell loose ones along with the boxed. it's like a buffet!

I don't need these anymore, I've had the plumbing shut off, but when I did... I'd buy them wherever. I was proud of the fact that I was getting some, and I'd always go to the hot check out clerk.

I wonder if they are like "Who would have sex with that guy?" or "Whoa, I wonder who the lucky girl is."

lol probably something more like "why do guys always come to me to buy their condoms, why not the other staff for once?"

Lol, there is probably a lot of truth in that. I know I would rather go to some cute young chick than some elderly person thats gonna start a lecture or something hehe.

Hmm, just checked out my brand (Durex Avanti), and it's about two bucks MORE than my local Stop&Shop. Doesn't look like a deal to me.

PS: Although I said "drugstore" in the poll, I actually use the grocery store. Close enough.

I usually just hit the local CVS or Riteaid. Never been emberassed except for once when I was checking out through this really hot chicks lane and she looked me right in the eyes and said "have a really fun night!"

Funny condom buying story.

This was a few years ago. At the time my girlfriend lived about three hours away in State College.

So I pick her up at the bus station around noon and we head to the local Wal-Mart for provisions. Among the usual stuff she needed to buy tampons and I needed to pick up some condoms. We grabbed to jumbo boxes of each and were headed for some chips when someone calls her name.

Now, her name was Sarah. It's a pretty common name. Considering we were about an hour from her home town and three hours from her college town, we thought nothing of it. Then I hear someone call my name. We turn around and her crazy-go-nuts Christian sister and brother in law are standing there.(And I mean crazy-go-nuts Christian. These people would say grace over light snacks.)

So my girlfriend shoves the condoms behind her back and eventually manages to drop them into a bin full of stuffed animals. Her sister never said if she saw the condoms or not, but she must. Anyway, we were able to ditch them fairly swiftly and get on with our sex, which thanks to her sister was condom free. :rolleyes:

It was funny at the time, anyway.

Don't buy 'em anymore - as Yoshi's on the pill, but I was always a drugstore (or even grovery store - insert your own joke here - buyer).

Just got back from Dallas, though, and was amazed at how many condom shops were all over the place!

I get mine from stop and shop so I can use the selfcheck out.

I just go to the supermarket. I walk up with my chest all puffed up and a miscivious grin that just screams, " Yeah, i'm gonna get me some." I have no problem buying them, i just wish i had to buy them more often...

I like getting them over the net for the selection. The stores around here, if your lucky, have two different brands and it's usually just one. A good variety on hand make putting it on more fun.

Target seems to be the least expensive.. .as long as you don't go for hte Trojan lamb skin pack... arm and a leg i think.

Wwwww... lambskin = bad. Stick with the latex. That is, unless you're allergic -- even still... it won't do you much good as a contraceptive (at least that's what I've learned).

yeah, target or walmart are always cheaper. i just get lubed trojans, which is about $4.50 or $5, but if i get them at a drug store or grocery store, it's almost 10 or 12, and i work at a drug store.

I just got back from my college orientation shin dig. We had a tour thru the on campus pharmacy and the tour guide explained how students can purchase over the counter drugs like cough medicine, tylenol, and etc. She then says oh yea students can buy condoms here too. The funny part was so parent's eyes widened up and stare down at their children. The best part was when this father high fived his son and say go get them boy!.
