"Viagra" type products for women - Fact or Fiction?

My partner and I are seeing alot of ads for new products that claim to increase desire for sex and quality of orgasms for women. Is there really anything new that people are happy with or is it the same old 'Spanish Fly' snake oil crap re-packaged.

My own extensive research has found diamonds to be the most effective afrodisiac.

Supposedly an anti-Parkinson/mood elevating drug called selegiline increased desire in both men and women and may also increase sexual pleasure.

I have seom experience with one type of product in this market...

My previous partner noticed a marked change from a cream I got her for fun whose main ingredient was L-arginine (it's an amino acid). There are many of these products on the market and it will basically stimulate blood flow in the region to which it's applied.

We'd apply it to the clitoris and labia 15-20 minutes before we really got going and she reported regional warmth almost immediately and stronger orgasms when we used it. She would always get visibly more aroused and wetter (most likely from increased blood flow). We only used it once in a while - she liked the change in sensation but wasn't interested in it being like that all the time.

She didn't generally have difficulty with orgasms, but she usually had to be on her stomach to really get off and I thought this would be a good way to get her stimulated enough that other positions might work better for her. (shrug) It didn't do anything for her sexual desire in general - that was never a problem anyway - the L-arginine really just improves quality of the orgasm (potentially) and that's about it.

on a side note: is an "afrodisiac" a hairdo that turns women on?

Thanks Donkeypuncher, the L-arginine products looked the most interesting to us as well.

Viagra actually works on women as well. I read this in playboy and my wife and i tested it out.

Some great sex, nothing new, but later that day she had an orgasm walking around the mall. She had heard of women cumming from just walking but never had it happen. Later that day she was still like a cat in heat.

It was very cool
