Whats up guys, my name is Jeremiah and im 23 years old residing in Northern California. So heres the deal, i have a really high libido aka sex drive and i was wondering if there are any meds/drugs that can lower it significantly or even better kill it altogether? I was reading about how to lower sex drive on the net and there was lots of helpful tips/information on how to do so but im wondering about meds/drugs/foods that can assist as well. Also i remember hearing on the radio a while back that pedophiles/sex offenders were required to take meds to control their urges and the radio personality jokingly referred to the drugs as "chemical castration." Any input/information is greatly appreciated.

2. Fortunately i can still concentrate at work/school/spend time with the family & friends but damn im always squeezing my apples.
3. I just want to lower/lose my sex drive so its one less thing i have to focus on.

Don't take any medicines. Find the triggers that set you off and find an alternative behavior to reduce the urges.

Yea...24 year old guy here. High sex drive is normal. So long as (a) you're not raping kiddies (b) it's not completely turning you in to a dysfunctional sex maniac, I would not worry much about 'high sex drive.'

Thanks for the input guys. Thinking about it now, i dont think i would want to be on meds for this...lol for one thing there might and can be side effects. Thanks Cimarron29414, if only such a potion existed. And to Plan9, i have a job and not bored...but i am single. I need a girlfriend...i want a girlfriend...im gonna try to get one. Ive only had one girlfriend my whole life and we lasted 3 years and 8 months...since our break up i never really bothered to pursue another female (in a romantic nature). Anyways im feeling better now that im getting more involved in my hobbies ie. cars, watching movies, eating, relaxation sessions, etc. so wacking off isnt as much of a priority/need as it used to be however im still doing the deed many of times per day...im just in more control now.

I'd recommend putting yourself up on some online dating sites.

It's easy, cheap and, if nothing else, will give you more confidence to approach girls you come across "in real life."

I respectfully disagree here, at least as I have experienced it.

During my first couple of years at law school I as woefully lonely and also horny. School as my first priority also really screwed up my ability to meet new people, so my dating pool was nonexistent.

I went and signed up for Match.com and this free site, Okcupid.com.

What the sites did, was increase my feeling of being (a) a creepster (b) desperate and (c) unwanted.

I'd see these cute girls in my area, message them, wink or whatever, and would never get any hits. The only time I received a message was from this unattractive 30 year old...who wanted to learn Chinese from me....

So in short. It magnified any insecurities I had.

If you're anything like me, you may be just missing perfectly good females around you.

Recently found out some attractive classmates always had the hots for me.

Thanks for the input guys, hmmm i actually did join a dating site a while back...match.com if im not mistaken. And to KirStang, i actually felt like those things you described as well lol. I was messaging the cute females in my area as well and never really got any hits, i just felt even worse but then again i didnt expect to be landing hotties left and right. In my opinion im a fairly decent looking guy with a good personality and my friends have told me so...they said i just need to be more forward/bold in approaching girls...after all what have i got to lose? Easier said than done but lately ive been friendlier and more daring...as in going up to girls in the mall and trying to strike a conversation. I believe the slang term is "hollering" at the ladies..i just come up to them and say "I noticed you in line and just wanted to say i think your really pretty, may i sit down?" etc. Sometimes it has worked and other times no go but i felt good taking my chances ya know even though the fear of rejection in front of everyone is very much a possibility but i had to try. Curiousbear i read that when people work out they get horny...i can attest to that cause after i ride my bike/exercise i feel good (endorphins) and at the same time i wanna have teh sex. So usually after a work out i jack off for my finish for pleasure and to burn some calories as well.
