Ok, first I'll admit it:

Who hasn't? (Raise your hand. Just as I thought)
Anyway, a thread about thongs & anal sex got me thinking about a question for the ladies (or dudes for that matter)

If you're wearing a thong, how do you know if you have a wedgy?

Inquiring minds (bored at work on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend) want to know

I'm not a thong wearer. I doubt I ever will be. And that's the reason. It's a perma wedgie! My sister says you can't feel it, it's not big deal, once you get used to it you can't feel it. But.. It's STILL a wedgie. It's still cloth up your ass, IE wedgie. It baffles me to.

Perma wedge. Exactly. I hate them. I, too, have a friend that tried to convert me saying I had to get used to them. I tried. Nope. Perma wedge!

There's a considerable amount less fabric with underwear that's intended to be there as opposed to a pair of panties that have worked their way up there.

I'll chime in.

As Manic_Skafe said, there's significantly less fabric, but you can tell when the fabric is riding where it's not supposed to be.
