Breast size

So the SO and I began discussing breast size other day , and our neighbor chimed in and said she wanted a reduction. I understand that some women suffer back pain and shoulder pain. So I guess my question is are you happy with the size of your breast or do you want a reduction or even implants? Is there a certain size you'd want? My man is happy with my size but I think at times if I was a little larger I would look more proportionate. Does it matter on size? Kinda like the whole "penis size" Just curious how women and men see the breast issue. :oogle:

genuinegirly 05-27-2010 06:54 AM

I'm proportional.

I would never consider a breast-reduction or augmentation. I would gladly have them removed entirely.

Plan9 05-27-2010 07:16 AM

Whoa, whoa, whoa...

Penis size does not equal breast size. Two way different things. If such was the case, we'd be measuring how deep or tight you ladies are instead of just slapping the ruler down on our loverockets like we need a bigger one in some horrible wet-slapping-noises arms race.

And if your guy is happy with your admittedly spectacular milkwagons, I'd suggest sticking with 'em. Why do you want to waste your time and money on something like plastic surgery? Shiny new gigundos aren't going to do anything for you that a Victoria's Secret pushup won't do for $29.

Oh, and stop watching so much TeeVee. People take that stuff way too seriously when it comes to body image ideals. It makes women think they needs tits the size of classroom globes and makes men feel like they should carry a roll of $100s in their jacket.

Baraka_Guru 05-27-2010 07:30 AM

My eyes haven't met a breast they didn't like.

I understand the issue of reduction for health reasons and augmentation for mastectomy issues, but for pure aesthetics? I think I understand some of the reasons: self-esteem, sexual obsessiveness, body issues, etc. I think the money would be better spent in therapy.

(Did I just type that?)

If by "therapy" you meant exercise and social hobbies, yes.

neveragain 05-27-2010 07:47 AM

No no no, not comparing penises to breast, just asking if there is a comparison for each gender on size. Ppl discuss penis size as small, average, large etc.. so I wondered if breast where sized like that as well, does it matter? Small , medium, large, whatever, in no way was I meaning to compare penises to breast , sorry for the misunderstanding there.

Sorry for the Anonymous Member post as well not sure what happened there...

I thin it only matters to partners. Women are either happy with ther breasts, or they're unhappy because they think they're too ____ for someone to love. I'm pretty proportional. I'm 5'4" 113 pounds, 34B or 36A depending on the store. I hate them. For a lot of reasons. My nipples arn't sensitive, and they're semi inverted. They're not super soft and cushy like I would like them to be, beause they're too small to be fatty. I'd like it if they were bigger. A cup size or so, not durastic. Would I ever concider plastic surgery? Not if my life depended on it. This is exactly who I am and you and I have to deal with it. Breast reduction is one thing, medically that's totally fine. I'd get rid of my brain if it got rid of my headaches, props to you for getting rid of the cause of your pain. Do i endorse any plastic surgery for cosmetic and apperance ONLY, Hell no. I think it's ridiculous. Botox, lipo, breastimplants, chin jobs, nose jobs, lip injections, it's all fucking ridiculous.

It's just like the chubby thread. Some people say yay chubby, some people are not in favor. It's preference. If you're chubby often you feel people arnt attracted to you becuas eyou're fat, so you start disliking yourself. Or if you're too skinny, ect. Way too often peoples perceptions of themselves rest of pnther peoples levels of attraction. THat's the only time penis or breast size matters, when it matters to someone else.

To sum it up, breast size does matter. Just the way penis size matters. It doesn't, at all, in the long run. But if you've got a 2 inch penis and you're worried about pleasing your partner, and you're nervous and shy and unhappy with it, Then yeah it matters becuase you're not happy with who you are, and thus not confident. If you're flat chested and you think nobody finds you attractive, you don't find yourself attractive, and you lose confidence and you become unhappy with yourself. And Baraka is right, that's where therapy comes in. Therapy teaching you to love yourself for who you are, that you can't (or shoudn't) change for other people, that you are who you are and that's who you're stuck with for the rest of your life so you better learn to live with it.

levite 05-27-2010 09:02 AM

I think there is something to the whole notion of proportionality. But that said, I pretty much like 'em any size. Do I love the big 'uns? Sure. I think many, if not most guys love the giant bouncies. But does that mean that I don't love the small ones? Hell, no!

My preferences in terms of women's shapes have always been quite clear: I generally go for either of two builds. Either the Valkyrie/tavern wench physique, with strongly defined features, taut arms, big cleaveagey boobs, load-bearing hips, and thighs that could crack walnuts; or the ballet dancer physique, small firm breasts, long legs, slim arms, finely-drawn features-- but the rare natural ballet physique, not the anorexic, bony, I-swear-I'm-really-naturally-waiflike-even-though-I-look-like-I'm-kicking-heroin, somebody-for-the-love-of-god-get-me-a-sammich wannabe-ballet dancer look. (Examples of the first kind: Salma Hayek, Christina Hendricks. Examples of the second kind: Summer Glau, Julia Stiles).

Still and all...does that mean I won't go for anything in between? No and no.

Boobs, and the rest of women's bodies, are lovely in all shapes and sizes.

RogueGypsy 05-27-2010 11:37 AM

Breasts are beautiful. The multitudes of size, shape and color just adds to their wonderfulness.

I get the body self image nightmare some women live with, everyone wants to be attractive, but if attractive means surgery to you. It's probably better to start fixing what's inside first.

As far as Penis/Breast comparison goes I'm gonna go with rigidity. Hard, firm, soft and floppy. I'd say both are better in the area of 'firm'.

snowy 05-27-2010 11:50 AM

I'm proportional--I'm fortunate to have an hourglass figure. My guy likes 'em.

I love my breasts now, but I certainly didn't love them when I was 12. None of the other girls had them and I felt like a freak. Girls are cruel.

And 9er, the good bras from Victoria's Secret (i.e. the fancy, cutting-edge technology ones [yes, there is bra technology]) are more in the range of $42 (except right now--it's the Semi-Annual Sale!).

Every day is a sale. Hey, I get the friggin' catalog, Snowy. In fact, it's sitting in the trash can next to my right knee as I type this. See, you buy your nine-girlfriends-ago woman something to wear on your anniversary and VS's catalog dept implants a friggin' GPS chip in your skull and mail you forever.

CinnamonGirl 05-27-2010 12:11 PM

I'm a D cup. I would love to be a B. Besides the fact that I have back problems, running SUCKS. Even if I get a really GOOD sports bra, I still have to wear at least two.

I sort of have a love/hate relationship with my breasts. Yeah, it's great that I can fill out a swimsuit top, and that wearing low cut shirts scores me free drinks at the bar sometimes. On the other hand, I've been hauling these babies around since I was 12 or 13, and I'd really like something a little lighter.

snowy 05-27-2010 12:33 PM

For the larger ladies, if you don't have a sports bra from this brand, you should check 'em out: CW-X Conditioning Wear

Eilonwy 05-27-2010 04:24 PM

I'm currently somewhere between a big C and a small D... depends on the brand of bra. My bigger boobs are one of the few things I like better about myself after gaining weight, but I was fine with the B I was before, too. I guess it never really mattered to me that much.

I did not know about the VS semi-annual sale... I will have to check that out.

Oh, and on plastic surgery for pure looks, I agree that it's ridiculous.

*hugs* they were just jealous. Girls are bitchy like that. :P

I have a pear-shape figure. So even when skinny, I'm full in the hips, with small boobs. Right now I'm a C cup, its meh. I wish I was an A or B cup again. I will be if I lose weight, my boobs are the first thing to get smaller.

Shadowex3 05-28-2010 01:30 AM

Guys like the entire range, really. For any given breast I guarantee you there is a suprisingly large group of people who idolize it. Some guys like them bigger, some guys like them smaller, some guys like given shapes, and a whole lot really just don't give a damn as long as they're there.

Personally? I'm probably biased due to naturally being a toast rack on a tent pole, and having once gotten a black eye from a pair of D's, but I'm a bigger fan of petite women and proportionally petiter (is that a word?) boobs. For most Fun purposes there's only so much you can fit anyway, and anything above a certain size becomes a liability.

I've also got really close friends who suffer incredibly from massively oversized boobs and would dearly love to get a reduction down to a "mortal" size.

I think that's it in a nutshell... in the long run it doesn't matter to anyone but the "owner". Small breasts will feed children adequately. Small penises will impregnate women. The pleasure received by the owner of either may vary, but it's entirely individual. The few, shallow people who judge YOU by your breasts/penis are not worth your time.

The big issue is how the owner feels about the size of their "equipment".

Myself, I actually prefer smaller breasts. My wife is quite large (40D). Does it make her less attractive to me? In no way. First and foremost, long-term attraction to someone is, for me, a matter of emotional, intellectual, and personal compatibility. The physical side of things follows from that (my one-night stand days are years behind me).

I'm not proportional.:) I'm a little over 5 ' tall and have large breasts, small waist, and not much of a butt. I'm definitely top heavy, and even if I dress carefully my breasts draw attention to themselves. I appreciate it that most men try to be discrete when they look. Drunk guys in groups, not so much.
I'm surprised that no one here has talked about breasts in sex play. Maybe a little too graphic for what seems like a mostly analytical thread, but hey, it's something I really like about my breasts. Anybody else? You can't do a titty fuck with A or B cup breasts. I love to get my lubed up girls sliding around his dick along with a little oral or hand action. Is there any guy on here that doesn't like that kind of play?
Similarly, penis size compares with breast size in that there are some sex positions that just work better with a longer than average penis.

I was a little older, and I was already sexually active when my boobs arrived on the scene. I was pretty flat until the summer after my fifteenth birthday when skinny little me grew from nothing to a C cup in three months. I went away to live with my aunt for the summer, and came back home with big boobs. :surprised:

You certainly can, but having compared notes with some small-breasted girlfriends, having smaller ones increases the likelihood of getting a bruised sternum from a tittyfuck (yes, this can and does happen, I've experienced it, and yes, it hurts).

ALL natural breasts are magnificent. Every last one of them (or every last two of them, if you will). Large, small, pointing in or our, up or down, oblong or circular, with nipples the size of dinner plates or the head of a pin. Each of them is a work of natural art that should be appreciated for it's unique beauty. They're like snowflakes. And I don't like snowfakes.

Strange Famous 05-30-2010 11:17 AM

A C cup or D cup is ideal

I've never been terribly self-conscious about my breast size, which has ranged from 32B when I was thinner to my current 36C (the last time I was measured, the gal said I was inbetween a C and D). I can only assume my husband is pleased with them - he's never said otherwise and told me just the other day what a great rack I have (he's an ass man). I have my physical hangups like lots of other women, those hangups just don't include my breasts.

As far as plastic surgery is concerned, I don't understand the appeal. I know several women who have had implants and I think they look terrible - these women are naturally thin and now have these massive...things just sitting on their chests. Maybe they all had bad surgeons, or maybe going from an A cup to a C or D cup overnight just doesn't look normal. I can see having surgery for health issues; my sister has very large breasts and wants a reduction to relieve back pain, and I have breast cancer survivors in my family that had reconstructive surgery afterwards. That I get. Then again, I have tattoos and I know a lot of people would never consider them and don't understand the appeal. To each their own, I guess.

Also: I feel like there's a "who's got a baby dick?" joke in here somewhere.

lunxpress 06-06-2010 01:34 PM

The flip side

When I was a young woman, I developed slowly and was mortified by my 32A breasts. I bought the water bra, I wore padded cups all to live up to some standard of beauty imposed by society.

As I aged, I learned to love them. I was amazed at their utilitarian power when I had my first child. This was the time in my life, when I felt the most womanly and it had nothing to do with men. Not to spoil our 8th grade boobies fantasy, but they are representatives of the bond between my children and I. This was the only time I ever had full breasts and it was also the only time I had no interest in sex, ironically.

I find it pretty sad, that squishy sacs of tissue could make or break a relationship or cause someone else not to like you. They are really secondary sex characterstics. The equivalent would be not liking someone because their balls were too small. I find it even sadder that many women have coveted this ideal so much that they would risk inserting some foreign object into their bodies feel better about themselves? If you are this impressionable to begin with, the new breasts won't help you. You'll surely find something else to obsess about.

I agree that money is way better spent on therapy.

If a woman is moderately well endowed, agile, and willing to actively use her breasts in a sexually active way, they certainly don't have to be secondary. A boob jack is one of my guy's most favorite things. It's a fairly young relationship, (only a few months) and it's a new experience for him.:surprised: His last relationship was years of missionary in the dark. So we're still exploring new territory.:)

Not comparative. I've never heard any woman talk about this, but my guy has one that is much larger than the other. Everything works just fine, though. Big danglies are fun to play with, though.

Having not been sexually active when I was a smaller size, I couldn't verify this. I can testify that it works very well with larger sizes. I am a DD now, but was a B when I graduated high school. I was a late bloomer in many ways.

I will say that my current partner LOVES to titty fuck. He's said mine have been the biggest he's ever had the pleasure of knowing personally. I introduced him to how it works and he enjoyed it. He requests it every time and I love how much it turns him on. I was surprised he had never done it before.

I am a big fan of the twins. They look good on me and feel great. I don't have any problems with them exercising, but I dropped some serious cash on bras. I wouldn't change anything about them.

Terrell 06-06-2010 09:21 PM

Breast size for me isn't really a big deal. There are other things about a woman I'm more interested in that her endowment. Most of the women I find attractive are on the skinnier side and aren't top heavy, but It's not a requirement. Personality, and simply taking care of her appearance go way further with me than whether she has a b cup or a d cup.

raging moderate 06-19-2010 03:00 PM

yeah, definitely taking care of the appearance goes a long way. People who know how to dress the right way can be attractive no matter what the size. stop trying to squeeze into that five-year-old's tee shirt and similarly-sized pants or overly baggy clothes, etc. and if you really want to better yourself physically, a little diet and exercise go a long way. and it makes you feel better, too.

Or that all men are chiselled, manly, and yet somehow have no significant or noticeably visible body hair below the chin.

clumsy jock 07-08-2010 08:53 AM

In the words of the great Ron White...."once you've seen one set of boobies, you just wanna see them all." HAHA I only find this true to a point. I do like a nice sized rack just as much as the next guy but I am more of a quality over quantity kind of guy. I don't really care for boobs that are stuffed like the Thanksgiving turkey, but I also don't like it when she lays down and suddenly looks like a little boy, in which case I hae to remove the underwear to keep worries at bay. I dated a girl who had a set of D cups and once the bra came off they where nasty. I have seen the flip side of this as well in both larger and smaller boobs.

As far as the whole "does it matter like penis size" I kind of have to say over all yeah and agree that this is just because of everyones personal preference. I do maintain that it is all about quality over quantity. I guess kind of like you gals and pecker sizes. does it really matter if he is hung like a billy goat or not? If he doesn't know what the hell he is doing with it and nails your vagina like a battering ram on a castle raid, then chances are that the 3 pounds of swinging death inside you is worthless.

Great question though.

Leedsbird51 07-12-2010 04:39 AM

I am a 36HH and hate my breasts. They are uncomfortable, heavy and over the years the weight of them has left me with deep ridges on my shoulders. I recently decided to take up running. I bought myself a sports bra and off I went. It lasted 2 weeks when I eventually gave up. The bra didn't offer any more support than my usual bra and I was so embarassed it was stressing me out. Even so, I don't think I would have a reduction even if I could afford one. There seems to be too many complications. So I will just have to live with them. So think yourself lucky all you ladies who can buy pretty bras, wear strapless tops/dresses and can go jogging without them hitting you under the chin.
