Sex fitness!
I had this idea regarding specific workouts that will help someone maintain sexual activity. I'm talking about being able to support your own weight or your partner's weight during a variety of sexual positions. The reason for this is that exhaustive physical exertion can be a distraction and can result in loss of erection if you work too hard at thrusting because your position or technique is draining.
As an example, some people may want to lift themselves up from their partner during the missionary position, to get a good view. This takes arm strength and endurance to support yourself while thrusting. What exercises would help one tackle the fatigue associated with this? I'm guessing push-ups, simulating the position and just holding the push-up as long as you can. How about exercises for technique like thrusting your hips harder and faster without changing your position? How about stretches to allow yourself to get into different positions? Does anyone have any tips of this variety? |

Yoga helps a lot with fitness for sex. It helped me become a lot more flexible, and it makes it easier to try new positions, or to adjust existing positions.

anything that adds flexibility like yoga or even pilates (for something a little less strenuous than yoga) would help. Weights for the arms, a general aerobic work-out for the heart. Squats...squats suck but are the best for stronger legs.

Pushups and lunges will pretty much do everything you're asking for. I could barely hold myself up during sex before I started working out and now I can go for forever basically and not even get tired.

Personally I dont go in for any of that Karma Sutra stuff - but to answer the question I would think any cardio vascular exercise would make you better at really rigorous screwing. Yoga and Pilates may technically be good for flexibility, but obviously as a male there arent things youre likely to do, maybe just lift some weights?

Pushups or static pushup holds.

Squats, lunges and any press for sure. Add planks both standard and side, bridges and so forth. Sex is a full body workout so you should concentrate on complex lifts. Those that hit multiple areas at the same time. Also be sure to work the opposing muscle group to avoid imbalance and possible strains and pulls.

It ain't about how strong your back muscles or thigh muscles are, etc.
The thing you need to excercise and work out on to get the best out of sex is your brain/imagination. |

Getting fit for sex is pretty much the same as getting fit for the rest of life, everyone should do cardio and weight training.
