Yeah, see it helps to be a cutter in order to enjoy blood play. I myself am not one, but I am with one. Its weird lol cuz I'd rather be cut. As for your man, Ametc, he probably says that because he doesn't want to hurt you. lol Believe it or not, my cutter b/f was like that. He didn't want to hurt me. But I have told him time and time again that I get off on it and to not worry lol. You would have to get him over that part. Even create a "safe word" if it makes him feel better. I had to do that too. Only he doesn't know I never would use it lol.

I don't think he meant "everyone into violent sex is a killer in the making", I thought he meant "every killer was previously into violent sex".

What is different is the direction of causality. A is in B - doesn't mean that every B will become A.

I don't think I would get a thrill out of cutting someone, or feel closer to them. Because I know I'm not fond of jabbing my kid with a sharp object several times each day. I do it because I have to. It doesn't feel like a bonding experience. As for the blood, I don't get squeamish around it anymore, now that I see it every day. But I don't find it sexually appealing at all. I just view blood like I view snot. Go clean it up, don't eat it, and don't get any on the sofa.

I don't mean to sound condescending to those who enjoy it. I just don't see the attraction. It could be partly because I deal with it every day.

I've never done it but i like the idea. It's very risking and I'd be paranoid about getting sick from it but I think it'd be fun.

Even then, I'm pretty sure the statement is incorrect. Additionally, the psychological profile of a killer is significantly different from that of someone who may enjoy the same acts but not kill. The connection made is an oversimplification of the psychology behind violent crime.
