I'm fascinated by men's fascination of women's breasts.
In my limited observation this fascination is somehow not universal,
because in some remote tribes, they have their women topless all the time
and I don't notice the men ogling.

My own personal taste is that I like them natural. A prime example
would be Monica Bellucci's.

What do you think is the cause of this obsession? Is it genetically innate or
is it something that is influenced by culture?

I'm a girl, and I find breasts attractive, but only if they are natural.

I think that the very fact women have pronounced breasts is because as a species we have selected for them.

I myself am a 'boob man' so I can assure you that I appreciate breasts (not to objectify women).
As to whether or not it is genetic or sociological - this has been debated for years. Desmon Morris would tell you it is genetic, however, I would tend to argue that there is a synergy between nature and nurture.

Depending on the man, we find several features to be fetish material. I love a round butt, skinny waist and of course boobs that match. Boobs for me though are secondary. I love the hips and ass more. I love strong legs too.

America is so fascinated with boobs because we never see them. It goes along the same thought as the pastor's daughter is the worst. If our society wasn't originally puritanical but rather tribal and half nude, we probably wouldn't care as much, like some european nations, or africans.

So this implies cultural obsessions rather than genetic, although there most likely is a genetic predisposition to this as well. If there wasn't, we wouldn't be shaped as we are. Same with penis size - we are gargantuan compared to the other primates.

Breasts, like child-bearing hips, are a very simple sign of fertility. Genetically, men are designed to want to mate, mate often, and mate with the best female. This is not to say that, as a rule, women with naturally larger chests have superior genetics, only that throughout the history of our species smaller breasts could mean illness or malnutrition. Larger breasts clearly indicate a steady supply of food. There's also a theory about how humans are the only primates to mate face to face and breasts looking like buttocks, but quite frankly that sounds like a load of bonk.

These natural urges lead to breast marketing, which served to reinforce the natural urges with social urges.

Also, they're really soft and covered in sensitive nerve endings. That certainly doesn't hurt.

In Indian temples you will find godess' idols to have well rounded large breasts, narrow waists and wide hips! Well we all think it is matter of figure and beauty. But it is actually like what Willravel says. They are signs of fertility. In Indian religionism fertility is component of Wealth.

I agree in a society where people are nude all the time, the attraction to "any breasts" or "breast itself" will decrease.

But we see faces all the time. But when we see a real pretty, perfect, unique, hot face we still get attracted. So even in a naked world a real well rounded, perky, perfect tit will still attract.

I get attracted to the beautiful faces even when I watch porn. In fact my favourites are the ones with the inviting, teasing or naught face expressions

I like breasts, but ONLY if they are real. Small, large, saggy, hanging, pert, don't matter, as long as they are real. Fake ones are an immediate turn off.

And i think they should not be referred to as boobs, tits, hooters, or any of that, its demeaning. They should only be referred to as rosebud tipped vanilla scoops of ecstasy. (chocolate scoops when appropriate)

Boobs are great. Noticeably fake boobs are not. I don't think bigger = better. D's are usually too big for my liking. As for the genetic vs cultural debate, I can't nail down *why* I like them, just that I could easily spend hours looking at them.

Though not a man, I can certainly speak on this subject.:) I spent two and a half very lucrative years as a topless dancer. The clubs I worked most often featured three song “sets” with dancing and stripping through the first two songs, and finally losing the top in the third song, to great whooping, hollering, and applause.
Although there was always applause when the top came off in the third song, you could probably guess the breast size by by the loudness and enthusiasm. Abandoning any sense of false modesty about my jackpot in the genetic lottery, I was petite, young looking, had a pair of natural 32D breasts. The club owners loved me because of the crowds I could bring in. Club management always wants at least one busty girl in each rotation, because busty girls bring in more drink buying, cover charge paying, dancer tipping customers, which makes for happy owners, bartenders, waitresses, and dancers. Do I like my breasts - not always, they make finding tops a pain in the ass, same with bras (found most stores only have things up to a C cup unless you start going for plus sizes or things that my grandmother wouldn't wear they're so ugly) I also hate the fact that so many of my male friends will get hypnotised by them and spend 5 minutes talking to my cleavage. Don't get me wrong I am not one of those girls that dresses up to emphasise it and then gets shirty about it, I more mean if I hope out of the pool when they're over and they're eyes just go straight to my chest or ass.

I also get really tired of the "Yeah baby take off your top!" comments.

That's not accounting for the occasional back pain, shoulder strains, difficulties working out and the occasional moments when you lie on one wrong and for a moment you think you're going to have a heart attack it hurts so much (I imagine it's kindof like sitting on yourself guys)

On the other hand I do love a petite little breast (about B cup size) for aesthetic's sake. I do find them attractive, it's just mine that irritate me. I prefer a full rounded breast rather then little pointy ones personally.

They're okay, but they're not usually the first thing I look at in a woman. There are some women whose breasts turn me on, but usually there's something else about her that I already find attractive, such as her face, eyes, hair, hips, legs, & personality. (those are in no particular order btw). Most of the women I have found attractive have had small to medium size breasts, generally big ones don't do much for me unless she has matching hips, a narrow waist, and a very pretty face.

Anyway, breasts, much like everything else can be attractive and can be unattractive. While I have not seen too many breasts that completely repulsed me, some are better than others. Overall, they are nice when aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I'm more of an ass man who prefers small to medium nice, real, round boobs.

I never really considered myself a breast man until I dated someone without them. She had the big bullet nipples, but was more flat chested than me. Yes indeed I do. And it particularly because of this that I'm still unsure about my sexuality. I'll be very frank about this- I identify as bisexual, but when I watch porn, it's hetero porn. Breasts are the bomb and yes, size matters (at least to me). Having dated girls with everything from nothing (still can't figure out why two girls I dated in college even owned a bra much less wore one all the time) to full F, I can say that I fall into the more is better category although there is usually a limit and it is very influenced by the rest of the girls body.
