Libido decrease even in the 20s?

Has anybody noticed their libido significantly decrease from when they were a teen to now being in their 20s?

dalnet22 11-21-2007 12:13 PM

I'm 21, and I have next to no libido. Looking at a hot girl gives me no rush at all, and porn does nothing. I can get off if I try really hard, but it doesn't do much for me. I'd say it went away this past summer after dealing with a lot of stress. It still hasn't come back. :(

No.

*continues humping your leg in the thread*

Factors would be: sexual activity, physical fitness level / physical activity, relationships, diet, porn preferences, college / work hours

Mmm not for 20's nor 30's, get back to me in a few years and I'll let you know about the 40's.

inBOIL 11-21-2007 01:49 PM

Yes, but I blame it on the depression.

geetar316 11-21-2007 04:09 PM

Yeah, it doesn't sound like an age thing to me as much as how much stress you're dealing with, etc. at different times in your life.

Less Stress = Better Sex

In my opinion

StellaLuna 11-21-2007 04:41 PM

Nope! I just got mine back! WHEE! :hyper:

hrandani 11-21-2007 10:15 PM

My libido has gone from fantasizing / needing some form of sexual stimulation once a day when I was in my teens to once a month now that I'm 21.

I would have never believed it possible, but to take my situation and extrapolate that data for all 20s guys isn't wise. Yeah that's right, imagine that, a difference in sexuality for men and women. Even bisexual women who have public sex.

World's King 11-21-2007 11:31 PM

Mine goes up and down.

Or in and out.

Which ever you prefer to use for a crappy pun.

Aladdin Sane 11-24-2007 01:10 PM

No. It's all the same. The only change is what they call me. At 14 I was a filthy little pervert. Today I'm a dirty old man. Same person, different label.

Lasereth 11-24-2007 01:22 PM

Nope. I think it might be higher now (I'm 24).

blahblah454 11-24-2007 02:02 PM

I didn't really care for sex in my teens, but I am 22 now and would say my libido has increased greatly. Stress would have a huge impact on it.

Willravel 11-24-2007 02:16 PM

Mine is going strong at 24.

MSD 11-24-2007 02:19 PM

At 23, I have arthritis in both shoulders and carpal tunnel system in both arms. My sex drive has had to decrease to compensate.

fish_oinc 11-24-2007 02:51 PM

At 59 I still want it just can't get it LOL The mind is willing but the body needs some help Viva Viagra

I really think its up to the individual as how you libido works I have a friend the same age and if he don't get it every day he has to chock one off but I'm happy with it once a week

Baraka_Guru 11-24-2007 02:58 PM

Just getting into my 30s, and nothing's slowed down at all. It's like I'm still in high school.

Oh, and my metabolism is the same, too. Maybe they're connected.

dlish 11-25-2007 06:22 AM

at 29...still up and coming

Martian 11-25-2007 08:03 AM

Half of these people are lying.

If you're not lying, you must be part of the other half. In which case, keep it to yourself; we don't want to embarrass anyone.

Honestly, there's so many things that can affect your libido that I wouldn't worry about it too much. Overall health, stress levels, personality, medications, relationship status, etc. As long as you're getting what you need that's all that really matters.

I reckon I've seen a slight dip since my teenage years, but then I was a pretty horny little bugger back then.

healer 11-25-2007 08:34 AM

I don't think mine will ever come down. I'm 25 and I'm hornier than ever. :)

While I agree, I also think that More Sex = Less Stress.
