Whisker Burn
My girlfriend says that she gets whisker burn from my beard during extended sessions of petting/kissing. Does anyone know of a method to soften the beard hair so that this is less likely?
Thanks Fred.Imageek |
Can't say I do. I shave mine off.
I don't think I could ever pull off a beard, unless I want to stop having sex altogether. |
I've found two options. Let the beard grow out so you more closely resemble a wookie. At that point the hair gets soft, but your girlfriend might find leftovers trying to navigate to your mouth. Otherwise, clean shaven is the way to go.

I keep mine really short 1/16" and I shampoo it every time I take a shower. That helps me a lot but a lot of what you'll have to do depends on how sensitive her skin is and how much you both like the way you look with it on.

I used to have this problem, but I guess my skin toughened up a little because I don't anymore. Sometimes my SO shaves and sometimes he grows a short beard. I love them both.

I've been told conditioner helps, so I slather some on my beard every time I think of it in the shower. Not sure if it really helps or not, though.

Lennon looked horrible with a beard.

Yeah, I condition my beard to make it softer. I'm not so much doing it for feel as I am for look. I like my beard to look nice and soft, it sort of matches my personality and manner better that way.

Kind of on the same line here... I shave everything down there and when my friend was performing oral on me he was telling me that his lips got very raw from the sandpaper like feeling of my skin in that area. Anyone have this happen before and what can I do besides waxing to make it easier on his lips?
Thanks. |
