ive been thinking about playing for match.com. but i had a few questions no answered by the FAQ, and i was hoping someone here might know.

When making contact with another person, does that other person have to be a paying member?

From my past experience with another site, you would have to subscribe to be able to respond.

That's usually how they work from my experience. Don't know about Match specifically though

facebook or myspace? usualy if you have mutual friends, you'd get a better chance.

While you are on the free sites, check out plenty of fish, it's free too. But I've been in two recent relationships, both of which came from Lavalife.

I've subscribed to Match myself and yes the other person must be a paying member in order to write you back. They can send winks for free,, but that doesnt get the two of you in touch. Heres what I do to get around that glitch... If you don't mind giving your email out... I try to cleverly give my email out in my profile.. .like.. reach me at so and so..... in a warm place... well you get the idea. You gotta be tricky tough as more and more of those sites are very good at flitering that out. I've yet to trick Cupid.com.. but i'm trying!. ha..
