Has anyone seen this device: The slightest touch.

http://www.slightesttouch.com/

I read about it on a gadget blog.
Evidently it doesn't make you orgasm, but uses nerve stimulation to take you to a pre-orgasm level.

It's via electrode pads that attach to your ankles (huh?) and they use techniques similar to accupressure or accupuncture. Weird but interesting.

Anyway, what it leaves yu with is something that just takes the slightest touch to trigger you, hence the name.

Anyone tried it?

I love the way the raphic plays on the iPod ads...

Yeah, but you are still left with the same problem, your partner has to WANT to use it. What we need is some hypnotic suggestion thing, where you can look at your partner and say "steakknives" or some such thing, and she's instantly horny.

"Steakknives"? Ok, I'm going to try that tonight. Nothing else has worked :-)

Contraindications (i.e., situations where a woman should not use the Slightest Touch®)

The Slightest Touch® is designed solely for use by adult human females in a good state of health. This device should not be applied to any person who cannot express rational mental thoughts. It is not designed to work for men.

Women who are taking certain prescription medications or have the following conditions should not purchase the Slightest Touch® electronic stimulation device:

Pregnancy
Prescription antidepressants (Paxil®, Prozac®, Zoloft®, Celexa®, Effexor® and Wellbutrin®). The Slightest Touch® cannot help with the sexual side effects of these medications.
Large doses of high blood pressure medications
Infectious diseases (to prevent spreading skin-related infections via the electrode pads)
Women who have metal objects, such as pins, screws, plates or bars, implanted anywhere in their body
Skin problems
Cardiac dysfunction
Acute disease
High fever
Malignant tumor
Persons who encounter physical side effects from medical treatment
Chronic nerve disease or conditions, such as, but not limited to, MS, epilepsy, Addison's disease and Parkinson's disease
Women whose hearts are not healthy enough for sexual activity
Women who have chest pain or pain in any internal organ during sexual activity
Women with other implanted electrical or electronic stimulation units, such as pacemakers
Women who become unconscious (i.e., faint or pass out) during or after sex

i like that last point...

if my G/F passed out after an orgasm i don't know what i'd do...
it'd b weird though.

That line was SO written by a woman...I feel almost insulted.

If this thing were maybe a bit cheaper, I'd definitely think about trying it out. But $130 doesn't exchange into Rands well and I been getting by well enough using the tools I have.

Lucifer, hypnotic suggestion's cool and all, but what if I were to go "Babes, hand me one of those steaknives" and she turns into this super-horny freak coming at me with a steaknife? :hmm:

insidious_machinae 02-07-2006 02:28 AM

Although the idea probably has merit, it seems like a waste of time and money, especially if the woman it's purchased for doesn't have the libido to use it.

Lucifer 02-07-2006 05:04 AM

goes back to my original comment, A woman has to want to use the thing, same as a woman has to want to have sex. Some device she straps to her ankles isn't going to help her lidido if she doesn't want sex.

long as she wants it - saying steakknives will do the trick - and save the money spent on this contraption for a good steak dinner...

Man... I feel (as a sexual being and as a budding Psychologist) that there's something just... wrong about a device that is being sold for profit that has claims of "OMG just convince her to use this and she'll be coming like next week!" If a woman isn't having orgasms, there is usually a reason behind it- not always psychological, but usually. Until that psychological issue is dealt with ("I'm ugly/fat/'dirty'/smelly/having an orgasm would make me unattractive/I can't handle the loss of control/etc") using something like this to "force" an orgasm will likely do more damage than good. Even if the issue is purely physical (she just hasn't figured out what "does it" for her yet), it's still something that should be addressed before believing in this kind of sexual voodoo. It's the same argument that because L-Arginine increases blood flow within the body rubbing some on your privvy parts will make you more horny. Does that mean rubbing my dinner all over my body will fill me up?

This device is *not* approved by the FDA. They have done *no* supervised, regulated, controlled product testing on this- there have been no clinical trials, some nut with two wires and a battery just decided that by running "a mild electric current" through a woman's body you can jump-start your lover. Sorry, I'm not a car.

God, this is the literal interpretation of Caveat Emptor....

Whenever you make her cum, say "steak knives" or touch her in a certain spot, like her shoulder(trace a circle repeatedly). It makes a learned association (similar to pavlov's dogs that salivated when he blew his whistle).

Lucifer 02-07-2006 12:30 PM

I'm going to try this next time, "oh, yeah....yeah....that's it...oh,yeah, right there, ....yeah, baby....STEAK KNIVES!!!"

TheBrit 02-07-2006 01:49 PM

Oh.
If your partner does faint after orgasm, you should lift their legs up while they're lying down. They'll come round in about 15-20 seconds.
Be careful what you say! Unless they fall totally unconcious, they can't move, but they can still hear you ;).

 hahaha yeah that's fuckin HOT

Meier_Link 02-07-2006 04:57 PM

go play computer games, obviously, since you wouldn't have to lay there and cuddle with her... but the more difficult question is, what would you do if she passed out before you orgasmed?
