British Elections in 3 days, your choice.
Firstly, i do realise that there are other threads that are up about this, but i'm interested in what people are thinking of voting now, not what they were thinking weeks/months ago.
The British general election is in three days, May 5th, and i would like to know what people intend to vote, if anything. Current YouGov polls have Labour on 36%, Tories on 33% and Lib Dems on 24%, with a 3% +/- margin of error. In my opinion, none of the parties are any good, it's just a matter of chosing the lesser of several evils. I personally am intenting to vote for the Tories, they intend to crack down on immigration, put discipline back into schools (bloody well time too) and at least have a start on all this PC mumbo jumbo. I also have no confidence in Tony after he's been put on the defensive so many times in the election run up. Discuss, reply to poll, vote! |
Lib dems won't get in and i don't think charlie will be a good leader, as for tony, well he has long enough at the top and think he just needs a good long holiday. So that leaves the last option, yes, Michael, so it looks like the Tories it is then. Ohwell, i'm in a labour district anyway so they're probably win down here, although i did hear we were number 46 on the unsafe labour seats.
Can't wait till its all over now, i want to see some news of outside this election, international affairs would be great. |
I'll be submitting a spoiled paper because the Green Party don't have a candidate in my area and I won't support any of the three candidates I can choose from.
A conservative government would be the worst possible outcome from my personal viewpoint. Michael Howard is a shifty cunt. |
I used to think Howard looked like a shifty cunt too, but then I thought Tony Blairs shit eating grin was far worse. And he's been eating a lot of shit recently.
Theres no way I can vote for someone who wants to put a tax on how far you drive in your car. So conservative it is. OR Lib Dem -shit I don't know its tomorrow too. |
Just as a measure of whether your understanding of the issues and who you might vote for (have already voted for) try the following link...
